  1. You can reset your stats* though only at level 43, and it is currently bugged to reset your capture rate status at the statue without giving anything back, so hopefully once fixed it will be no issue where you put stats.

From what I have seen, health doesn't need much stats in it at all, can put a few but not many, if you getting hit it costs a lot more then health as your durability goes down, and with no armour it doesn't matter how much health you have you die.

Hence Stam is very very good as it means more dodges, longer gliding, longer mining (though with refined tools, you mine so fast a coal mine goes in like what 5-6 hits?) much longer sprinting

And carry weight is extremely important.

Next I put into attack, as I like to actually play and keep up with the damage my Pal's can do ๐Ÿ™‚

Do not put into work speed, though 2 is helpeful really early on as it doubles your speed, you need to rely on Pal's to craft.

  2. I brought up my attack to 110 and I found myself feeling like it was wasted but I did that in the early levels so I wonder if it helps late game. If so then I can't tell because I only seen the results from early levels.
Besides that, got stamina and work speed to 200 and feel that's good enough.
Got weight to 1k and feel like it's a decent number. Could be better but a solid number to get to by itself.
My HP and weight will be my most invested stat, I believe.

  3. in my opinion hp,stamina and weight, if your already experienced at the game and going for a second playthrough you can skip stamina and rush for direwolf and nitewing saddle.

  4. I'm maining Stamina and Weight.

Stamina can be disregarded later on as pals have better mobility.

Weight is very nice to have when moving contents from storage. Wood, stone, and iron will be heavy and multiple trips are a pain.
Pals can be a system of moving items yet volume of items to be moved is to great for pals alone.

This is just my observation, it can be different for others

  5. As of the current state of the game, I dont do Work Speed, because I can catch Zoe and Grizzbolt with the bug of attacking an NPC, bringing them into the cave with me, then having them attack the boss then I can cap it. Free lv 3 Handicraft + bosses are regular mons but with MASSIVE HP (they dont breed normally though, they only give Chikipi with ANYTHING) So thats my dedicated crafter early on until Penking / Bushi for an Anubis early. I find my comfy carry weight to be about 1k + end game, more closer to 1500. Attack is preference, I get mostly used to making Pals do all my murdering and Im support fire. Health is a big boost though, Stamina I feel alright with 200. Also, you cant raise Defense with stat points iirc as of right now anyway

  6. workspeed and stamina are the main thing you want to level up
at the end of the day your hp doesnt matter cause you can dodge and make your pals tank for you
weight limit is not that big of a deal get it up to a 1000 and you're good to go the only thing you need to keep in mind if you're farming away from your base is how far away are you on the waypoints its all about optimization and wasting all your stat on hp is nonsense on my opinion at the end of the day you get bonus hp on what gear you''re wearing utilize your pals when it comes to your hp learn how to dodge effectively no need to tank damage stamina is more important than hp

  7. I pump up mostly stamina and some weight because it provides better mobility, climb time and glider-time/distance since the game uses a tLoZ:BotW movement-model. This isn't Ark where you can tame and ride a Pteranodon at level 38 which is something you do within an hour of new-character spawning if you know what you're doing. I like exploring the map and ground-mounts are a pain to use due to the map's verticality (at least so far, as I'm still in the early-game and I'm being cautious).
