You can now get Netherite Diving Boots, which when worn stop you from being affected by Conveyor Belts as well as boosts swimming speed in both water and lava
13:30 thats a deep dark biome (hinted by the sculk) which is one of the 2 biomes mobs cant spawn in. also, if you press Y to open you mini map config and go into information settings you can set it to show things like biome or time
Your mine doesn’t spawn mobs because the biome is deep dark which only spawns wardens and bats and maybe whatever modded stuff you’ve got added there.

I suggest adding the Create: Jetpack mod to the modpack since it basically adds flying abilities to the backtanks. There are both copper and netherite jetpacks that work the exact same as the normal backtanks, but allows you to fly as well. This way, you don't have to worry about your current jetpack fueling situation (although I think you still need to use it for your grapplin' whisk) and you can wear just one item to use your potato cannon and fly at the same time! (I linked the mod in your discord server in the episode-discussion channel)
No Mobs in your tunnel because mobs dont spawn in deep dark
You can use warp stone, they function nearly same as waystone. Differences are they are portable and doesn't saves location.
quick train tip: for a cool private train call-in you can use a seated conductor with control access on the train and a conductor whistle to call the train to any place you'd like

What’s the song at 15:20? I can’t find it in the playlist
Can anyone tell me the song used for the dragon fight? I looked through beardy's playlist and couldn't find it. More specifically the one that is playing when beardy is using the flamethrower.
Enemies can't spawn in the deep dark biome, even without skulk around, that is why under your base there is no enemies.
For the dragon fight at 17:20 the song used is "Run Away With Me" Roof ft. Paper Twins.
btw what mod has the backpack with all the upgrade slots?

Try crafting the jetpack and elytra together then you can use the jet pack instead of rockets for your elytra

A mod id recommended is create jetpack! You can use the air from it for things like the potato cannon and extendo grip while you have it equipt its super handy i use it on my server
and elytra allows the jetpack to fly higher then its intended
if u add a mod that adds a slot for elytra you can fly rely fast with the jet pack
I was gonna suggest way stones but to keep your "realism of travelling" add the way stones to the wheel of your airship and and schematic cannon them to all of your area so you "fly" to locations in your airships 😁😁

The Alex’s mobs mod has an encyclopedia that looks like a green book. You should have gotten one when you spawned into the world, but I’m pretty sure you can craft more. It contains knowledge on a bunch of the things you have been seeing, and what you can do with their drops. Cave centipedes, the mimicube, the giant squid, the scary screaming thing in the deep dark, the crimson mosquitoes, and a lot more. I heavily recommend it, especially since you are now in the end, where the most dangerous stuff is.
13:26 I think the reason you aren't getting many mobs down there is because a lot of the area could be inside a deep dark biome? not sure what mods you have to affect the deep dark but in vanilla no hostile mobs spawn inside the deep dark biome
the mobs arent spawning there because in the deep dark biome they arent supposed to spawn
19:20 that, my friend, is a blue giant squid from the alex's mobs mod! it is very, very rare as its spawn requirement is a regular vanilla squid, being struck by lightning!
you essentially found the squid equivalent of a charged creeper… or rather a brown mooshroom, since to my knowledge it's just a color change.

you could make an very simple obsidian farm instead of mining it manually with an machine
The Potato Cannon tells you what each item will do when fired to you can see it's damage, also poisonous potatos cause poison damage when used by the cannon.
