SUPER GREAT IDEA! Definitely worked hard to butcher it to hell. Why couldn't you make a separate character to only play in Safer Seas and have 100% features unlocked and just not be able to carry toon over to High Seas. Sea of Thieves spent all of this time to just discourage people from playing Safer Seas LOL Amateur game creator move
I used to think Safer Seas was a bad idea for the health of the High Seas servers. Now that I realize they nerfed it into the f*cking ground, I think it's a fair trade lol
Its mindn numbingly stupid to allow people to progress commendations and go as high as 40 in safer seas. Rip half the challenge of a ton of the commendations. Rare cosmetics are about to become super common

I’d love to have the option to have more than 3 players join me so we could have a fleet or a personal PVP for more of an RPG experience, but I usually don’t have more than 2 people to play with so it’s not really an issue. In fact, I’d say it’s a good way to enjoy the game again. I’ve gotten seriously sick of the absolute toxicity that is the higher-tier player base. It’s all well and good when I’m about the combat, but it’s also nice to just cruise around and fish, explore, play the storyline etc. The worst part of this game is when I’m just tryina relax and sail around to explore, but I can’t leave the dock because as soon as I spawn my sloop is already being sunk by a galleon the second it spawns. If it wasn’t so impossible to play the game I’d have never stopped, now I’m finally considering playing again. After all, $40 is a lot to pay for a game that I rarely play. I applaud this decision.

I would love to try out this game but if I understand this correctly you and a up to 3 other players can share the zone with you and that's it. If the devs ever open up a high seas, pve only server with the OPTION to PvP then I'd try this out. Until that time… I don't think so. My luck I'd get into the game and be massacred ever time I tried to do anything pve related on the high seas servers. Love the concept of the game but hate the PvP only aspect of the open world.

I have never wanted to play Sea of Thieves solo because i don’t want to have some PvP sweat kids chasing me for 2+ hours when all i have is items from tall tales and perhaps some fruits and cannonballs

Half the game is enabled on safer seas… junk update.. downvoting on my steam until they remove the walls.
