Really clever design (Hyphn): The strong ripole just exactly behind the mid/high unit. A great step towards the coherence of a true point source and it works great from what I hear. Only Cabasse, with its La Sphere, has done this before, with not absolute success, in my opinion. This one here kicks and sings too. Nice video, well done!
We have to have how shall I put this 'lady friendly' speakers? And so, and I kid you not – this is what she said: "they looks like a a pair of vulvas" – Now we already have the absolutely gigantic Monitor Audio Platinum 500PLII's and she hates the look of them but I love the sound — always love tall speakers and these are the bomb – so I was fairly in on new pair of MA's which would be 'lady friendly' but it appears these are too 'lady friendly' – I know but now I can't unsee it.
I think the bass is way too rounded. I think it’s a design flow. For the sake of style, the bass suffers. You never want to point to woofers facing each other like that. Midrange is amazing.
