2022-2024 SANTA CRUZ Blur v4 vs Specialized EPIC EVO, C and CC
2022-2024 SANTA CRUZ Blur v4 vs Specialized EPIC EVO, C and CC Carbon FRAME Quick Review
#SANTA #CRUZ #Blur #Specialized #EPIC #EVO
“LoveMTB”
The only #SantaCruz without #vpp #BLUR XC and Trail frames in detail. In this part 1 I’m taking a closer look at the frame and I compare it with a Specialized Epic EVO, both with 120/115 mm travel. This is a 2023 BLUR C frame, Medium size, enjoy!

3 water bottle cages. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
You didn't mention the price you paid for it, nor where you purchased it.
Great frame and that colour is beautiful!!! – glad to see you are ride wrapping it!! Look forward to seeing the bike all built up!!
Can you record a dream build of this frame , and post it on youtube ?
I recently bought a Propain Spindrift 4 AL 27,5" Frameset
Frame Size : L [ Large ]
Frame Color : Petrol Gloss
Decal Kit : Chrome
Badge : Chrome
Rear Shock: RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate RCT
Without Chainguard/Bashguard
The frame came , incl. Headset Acros AZX-209 ZS49/ZS56, Seatclamp SIXPACK Skywalker 34,9 mm black, SIXPACK 148 mm x 12 mm thru-axle and a fitting rear derailleur hanger
So true, why buy new? Much better for the environment too.
In your opinion which of these short travel bikes feel the smoothest on flatter bumpy trails?
Nice looking frame!!! Can't wait to see it finished(lucky daughter)Cheers!!!
huh? where is the motor? mtb's all have motors now
Looks like a good buy! Looks minty!❤
Great first look. Cant wait to see the ride review.
Excelente cuadro. Ya nos la enseñarás cuando la tengas montada (construida). Enhorabuena; me gusta mucho ese cuadro.
2.2kg isn't heavy….Lol
Looks boring compared to the new canyon lux trail series imo.
Great frame, I nearly bought one but got a Scott Spark RC instead. I would not have been dissapoitned either way. You will have to show the build.
Are you going to replace your TB (or it was already replaced)?
Does this light green frame accept the so called SRAM "universal rear derailleur hanger" , system as well as Shimano style XT and XTR ones ? I have seen Mondraker and Commencals that have dual – standard , flexibility with an "adaptor hanger" fitting available .
The Cervelo version of this frame is competitive with the Spec in weight. The cable routing is ok but I like Pivot's larger ports with the covers that clamp. Foam goes into those big ports so easily. I've considered getting one but the colorways just don't do it for me.
When looking at these frames from Santa Cruz , I can see mold symmetry marks from the fine sanding by Chinese factory workers through the paint job . My friend has an aluminium Canadian frame Bronson . This was one of the last made there before changing supplier .
Dream frame❤
I built my own CC FS MTB with Sram XX1 11 Speed drivetrain, Fox Stepcast fork, and a carbon wheelset. Weights 25.9 Lbs. and cost $4900.00 to build. Same bike at ALL Bike shops is at least $10,000.
Love the color. Any thoughts on a future comparison with the Intense Sniper T or the entry level version Intense 951 XC (available at Costco of all places).
I also have never owned or rode a Santa Cruz. What series/grade of aluminum are their frames made from?😊
I've never owned a Specialized even knowing along with GIANT were sold at a former bike/sports shop where I live.
