Cara, eu faço assim: Quando é um primer de enchimento, dou uma "quebrada", de leve, com a 220. Ajuda muito.
Já a 800, só vejo a necessidade quando é um prata, em qualquer outra cor, em tinta poliéster ou PU, finalizo sempre na 600, e nunca tive problema.
