Auspicious versus Heated, Which is better for Gem Mining? | SkyBlock | Hypixel | Minecraft

CMW Gaming recently suggested I needed to try out the Heated reforge from Hot Stuff, rather than the Auspicious I’ve been using forever on my Divan’s Drill (from Rock Gemstones). The idea is that at max mining gear/powder, you actually get enough of a speed boost from the extra speed on Heated to break blocks 1 game tick faster (i.e. 11 ticks to break instead of 12). That would be around 8% faster per block, so theoretically 8% more gems/coins in a continuous mining situation (e.g. Divan’s Jade). I decided to do a short side by side test to see if that holds up.
