“TFBTV Show Time”
Palmetto State Armory came out swinging this year at SHOT Show with a ton of prototype and concept guns. @Hoplopfheil stopped by to take a look at the most talked about concept so far: the X5.7 PDW. The X5.7 is chambered in 5.7x28mm like PSA’s own Rock pistol, and uses the same magazines. Some…

What a fumble on PSA’s side, out of the many calibers that are available and very much affordable… and they choose 5.7? Almost everyone has been wanting an affordable mp7 clone with amp that’s pretty common, what a fumble on their part.
What’s the barrel length?
Either Hop is really tall or this dude is really short
WANT
A late 2025 gun most likely but as long as it runs right.
I prefer a L side charging handle instead of a rear one.
My biggest ask on this would be to be able to switch out the mag well (like the S&W response) so we could run smith or FN or Ruger/PSA mags, based on what handgun we have. I know that’s not necessarily feasible, but it would be awesome.
this is cool af
Yes! Finally a mp7 clone sweet can't wait for it come out.
Between this Tommy built and masterpiece we have the mp7 at home.
That little boy in the red seems to know a lot about guns. His parents are probably looking for him. They need to get him away from the guns and take him to Chucky cheese Pizza.
This is like the mullet of 5.7×28. MP7 up top, HiPoint grip down below
This and the thumper and shotgun or what I am really looking forward to from PSA
This isn't or never will be an MP7.
When hop is 6' and the PSA rep is 5'10"
Gun porn
All we need with this is frontward curved mags then it will look so close
Look like smg from half life 2
Fosscad dropped it first
The next best thing is the T7 from Tommy built. But that’s gonna be 3.5k-4k.
And the 4.6 is incredibly hard to find.
So this really may be the next best option
Prefer more of a bump fire trigger instead of a binary trigger
Take my money!!! I want 2
This explains why Civil Protection used MP7s, PSA is going to crank enough of these out to outfit a planetary occupation.
Think about this. Your wife and daughters need a Pistol'ish self defense item for the care or at home. Heck I could see those with disabilities who have a hard time with pistols using something like this. Me included.
take my money now!
5.7 sucks, honestly wish this was in 9mm instead and used B&T clone mags. Esentially a cheaper TP9.
Hope the end product incorporates some thicker cuts of metal for the brace. Looks way too flimsy.
So the 40 rd mag will fit n the rock 57? What about the new 57 compact?
your intro sucks ass
This gun is definitely super cool. It's nice seeing some new options for 5.7 in the PDW style firearms. They definitely should try to make a 9mm. What I wonder is if 30 supercarry could be a good option? Having a similar performance to 9mm with higher capacity could work in a pdw format like this. While the 30 supper is new, with further research they could possibly improve it. 10mm would be nice for back country with bears as well.
love watching his hand try to grip the silly proportions of 5.7, truly a useless round
Pass. 5.7 was designed for a very specific purpose, a purpose for which 90%+ of people dont need.
Call me crazy, but a forward non reciprocating charging handle would make this much more pleasant to shoot suppressed. Please PSA make this enjoyable for us suppressor addicts
Barrel length?
Gotta light skined friend look like Michale Jackson
I didn't know sasquatch was a gun guy
Yup im getting one on release !
Dude! I've watched a bunch of your stuff, never standing next to someone else, I guess???? Are you a giant? Or are the other three dudes dwarven kin? Holy JayZus!
Nice presentation. I hope they get it right and get it into production and out the door before everything goes completely sideways.
Kid: mom, I want an MP7?
Mom: we got Mp7 at home.
I… I NEED IT!!!!!
built my first AR with PSA parts. Cheap as fuck and reliable as fuck. Its no DD but i spent lest than $650 on it.
