you could build a post in the middle from the ground. Then after the main building is done you build the supports and at the end you add a few blocks extra to go into the ground. Then when your done you cut the center post you used to start the build. I used to build cool houses in mine craft with all the blocks turned in different directions. Seeing people make cool stuff in Space engineers blows my mind. Great eye to the detail on these videos. One of my issues I have with people are the ones that showcase and just skip all the details. Used to drive me mad on Doom with the snap maps. All the detail you would put into a map and people just flew through it and never appreciated the details.
