The rmr costs more than most handguns smh
Top choice out of 7 different red dot sights I choose the DP Pro hands down. Even my Trig’s aren’t even a close second.
I now have 6 DP Pros – on my SCAR 17 offset mount, SBR ACR, HK USP, VP9, SIG 320, and FN.
Optics like this are made for rifles, not pistols. Anyone who thinks they need a red dot optic on a defensive handgun, when over 90% of all gun fights are 0 to 10 feet, is making a fool of themselves. If you can’t hit a human criminal target from that distance, you have no business carrying a handgun.
Rather than purchase the "Paula Sun" optics I think I'll save my money for the tried and true Holosun brand.
What holster brand is that you are using with the S&W shield plus and crimson trace optic?

absolutely love my 509T, so much better than the open emitters.. always going fully-enclosed from now on
Running Trijicon RMR, Leupold DPP, Sig Romeo 1 Pro, Sig Romeo X, Sig Romeo Zero, Holosun 507C. Of these, the new Romeo X is by far my favorite optic, similarly priced to the others but rated for 10mm, Shake Awake, Side battery access, duplex reticle, and Duty Rated all aluminum housing. Plus, low enough profile to Co-witness standard height factory sights. The Romeo X should be at the top of everyone's list – at least for consideration.
It would've been nice to show the prices on these optics!

most of these cost more than most pistols – including Kimber. that has to change. while vortex is reasonable ive had issued with their products, glass falling out mostly.

The biggest feature you didn’t discuss is battery replacement. Do you have to remove the sight to replace battery? I won’t purchase if I have to remove sight to replace battery.

Not sure why it wasn’t featured, but I also think Swamp Fox is a solid red dot option and won’t break your bank. I’ve had mine for years and has worked flawlessly.

have enough mags on you and you don't need fancy sights, just pull the trigger until you are no longer threatened… open sights work just fine… close enough you don't need any…
or is the second only about police and mil; that is NOT how it is written, but thats how they do it… USE YOUR SECOND AS YOU SEE FIT, gov, step aside, hold my monster drink…
“Shake awake” or “Automatic On” is an absolute must for my choices. Especially if it’s your personal defense weapon. The time you use to find the “On” buttons could cost you everything.
