  1. Tinubu is a corrupt tool of the current Western Imperialist Neocolonialist who continue to exploit & oppress the Populations in Africa. He is the perfect example of African Complicity in maintaining the Western Fascade of African Democratic Sovereignty. He has done an excellent job in exposing the Western Farce that Continues to Plague Africa. Even a Corrupt Illegitimate Politician can produce a desirable “unintended consequence!”

  2. Did not ask for approval but wished for support from the senate on the communique of ECOWAS resolution. Semantics. The resolution of ECOWAS was a military intervention. Stop with useless semantics. He asked for military intervention, senate rejected in favour of dialogue.

  3. Am I missing something? I did not hear a rejection of the military intervention. All I heard was that they stand behind Tinubu and ECOWAS in restoring democracy in the nearest future. That to me sounds like a go ahead with whatever plan that will restore democracy. Someone please correct me if I am missing something.

  4. How can ECOWAS make Tinubu its Chairman with the ongoing tribunal cases after a disputed election he"s faced with is this what ECOWAS leaders call DEMOCRACY?

In the issue of the Senate resolution to support the ECOWAS resolution TINUBU must stupid to pass such request to the senate at the first place..

Any military intervention by ECOWAS will fail in Niger from Gaya, kamba, Birni, llela, Dan Isa etc are thousands of miles to Agadez, Agadez to Niamey records over 5 hundred miles, Maeadi to Niamey is about 335 miles which will take over 8 hours to drive..

Niger is not like Liberia or Serra Leone..This is why the fight against insurgency in these Sahel regions a d the northern part of Nigeria is very difficult..

  5. Continued dictatorship through the back door with eyes wide open. Lest the reaction history shall see to it that the same old indoctrination and idiocy continued to the detriment of the whole continent. Divide and conquer has been the script for so long emanating in nothing but war destitution and continued abject and poverty. How long will foolish people continue to pander and upkeep such a putrid legacy of its continent and its peoples. WAKE UP AFRICA BEFORE ITS TOO LATE.

  6. This was a western gimmick. The coup was planned with connivance of the US, that evil empire. This was the plan. Coup happens, then war begins in west Africa. Bye bye to brics union among Africa. This was their final plot and it has failed. We are God's people. We are Jews, not Jewish like the pretenders.

  7. I'm African American and i just found out that I'm Nigerian! I'm trying to understand, people say the President didn't say, GO TO WAR BUT the parliament members are denying for our people too go too war🤔 I prayed for us too NOT go to war with our Brothers and Sister's in Niger so we Thank the Most High Supreme Yahshua Ha'mashiack ! One Africa touch one touch All, we need too END European military bases in ouur CONTINENT and Not even be friends, I know because Us African Americans have lived with them All our lives so the best person too ask about Europeans is your Brother who has been living with them and know there Thinking 🤔

  8. I wonder why simple English is a problem to these online news false labelling. It's clearly stated by the Senate president that the Nigeria president didn't sanction using forcein Niger, it stated the president commanded they should find alternative resolution means.

  9. Senate as slaves to the present…always agreeing to all the statement of Mr tinubu…not knowing what led to the coup….Nigeria my country is in a war itself due to a 2months old government led by Mr tinubu.please Nigerians do not be off minded we HV matters in court

  10. What is this, didn't seem a true reflection of the head line, is the parliament president skipping and rereading paragraphs,? Why is ai and ni in African parliament,, coping British colonial heritage

  11. Something is wrong with this Senate body. Only asking for some kind of an "official" notification from Tinubu, to support him and ECOWAS ( wink, wink – France, EU, US )! These are shameful politicians. They will sell Africa out to the Colonizers. Nigerians deserve much better leaders.
