  2. The center channel issue has been solved. Speakers across the top and bottom of the screen designed specifically for this purpose. Your exactly right in terms of heat, cost, and installation. Time will tell… Love your channel, keep it up. God Bless.

  3. If they can make acoustically transparent microled and make emmissive light as pleasant as reflected, sure!

PS. Oh and also get rid of those Tesla gaps between panels

  4. I went to an LED business and viewed their screens in person. The impression I left with is, that for whatever price you pay, you would always get better quality/performance putting the same amount of money towards a projector/ALR screen. For example, even if I could get 'The Wall' 2k version for 70k, I could get better picture quality and size spending that same amount on a projector/ALR screen. I am also considering the 98" LG OLED tv, but I'm wondering if it is big enough for me or not.

  5. Your environmental point is a very valid one. Size, weight, resources used, the heat generated and energy used in operation, disposal etc – all seem so unnecessary given you can have a high quality image from a far more efficient projector.

TV's have their place: in living rooms, up to a certain size. Above that, or in a dedicated home theatre, a projector is the way forward.

  6. Even if someone can buy a 200k TV most millionaires will not want to because they understand technology is ever changing and can get outdated fast. Music equipment high end tends to hold value better and you can make upgrades over time to some pieces giving you decades of longevity. TV's basically become worthless over time as technology evolved to replace them with latest versions. I can get a whole movie theater set up with an awesome high end projector and audio with design for about 60,000. It would just be used for home theater room as I already have other tv's for day watching and dedicated music room for listening to singers etc. Maybe in 5 years to 7 years the tech comes way down in price and more mass adoption. The people that spend up to have this when first comes out are mainly bragging rights to their friends and buddies to wow them.

  7. Yash bhai i was 75 kg at 5feet 6 inch with 24-26 % body fat then i joined gym and within 3 month i lost 5 kg slowly . Then i started body recomposition and now after 6 months of gym i am like 72 73 kg with much lesser body fat so how much do you think i will go in next few year ( i actually want to be like 85 kg weight with 18% body fat)

  8. I wasn't sure if you were going to say they were better. It's just another stupid money grab. Projectors are such a steal nowadays. Why buy a big TV that can break that's bad for your eyes.

  9. as usual Michael i love your video! personally, just me, no, not anytime soon.. by the time it becomes reasonable in price we will likely not have flat displays anymore.. however, true QNED TVs could threaten projectors! when they do finally rear their head.. but samsung already put so much into QDOLED, knowing QNED would be the result, that it is only an amount of time!.. and when that time comes, i predict either next year or 2025, it will constitute that significant threat to projectors!.. assuming they make them larger in size, which is likely to happen to all those OLED,QDOLED and even QNED TVs, again, once they do comeout!.. i do agree to disagree with ya in the micro LED not being a home theater solution type tech though!.. i think it's the king of a kin'ds home theater!.. seeing as you'd have to be a prince, princess, king and or queen to afford one!.. but like all tech, they will, most especially upon it becoming lesser in price, put into circulation, into more homes, and thus and as such have more customers griping about it's shortcomings, it WILL be improved upon in ways it will assure that it becomes a better, more flexible install, solution for those wanting to have a center speaker beehind it, not want to plug it into 2 sockets to run it, ect. ect… but i'm certain that quantum dot nano-emissive TV tech will be that TV tech that will take over long before then! it will be immune to burn in, brighter, have further color depth and vividity AND brightness, deeper contrast, move more effortlessly and far faster than OLED, so it will be the daywalker of all TV techs!.. all the strengths, none of the weaknesses!.. micro LED will still be better! but untill it drops in price to a level we mere mortals can afford.. it remains a novelty only the ultra rich can hope to attain.. but hey they can get centers mounted on the ceiling to reflect sound off em'! from what i saw in some video from CES or something if i recall! so there's that! lol lol😂.. BUT!.. there is hope, super projectors like the sony GZE 380, that use 240 power too, have competition in the micro LED market! having come o the same pricepoint now! i think that 80 inch display, micro was announced at 0 grand, same as the sony, so that means they are at least starting to merge into the same price category, even if at the extreme most expensive in the projector relm and the least expensive in the MICRO LED realm!.. it's comin'! if slowly.. typo there both the sony and the micro were announced at 80 thousand dollarssrt,8

  10. Cannot see this product taking off. For the vast majority of consumers, this will never replace a TV, especially when TV sizes are getting bigger and bigger. Most people don't want to go through the trouble DIY a screen to fit their living space anyway. The other downsides you mentioned, besides the price, are all dealbreakers – especially the weight and heat dissipation issues. I suspect in a few years this product will be as relevant as 3D or curved TVs are today.

  11. Just cant see this overtaking projectors due to cost. I can get 146" screen from a pro for under 5k usd. I believe what you saw there was 250k usd

  12. The fact is – it’s here. Back in 2014 I went to a Sony store (when they still existed) to see the first 85” consumer display which went for $25k. Now you can get an 85” for $1700. It won’t take that long for the prices to get more consumer friendly. Oh yeah, apparently you need TWO (2) dedicated 20 amp breakers for that TV. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

  13. I think 💬🤔 the only way micro led can replace a projector is if they could get the cost down. I don't see that ever happening. TV's just cost to much.

  14. OLEDs continue to get bigger, cheaper and brighter. Their image quality is unmatched. I wouldn't doubt if it becomes the new standard in 5-10 years. The only hesitation I have is the sound stage not being able to pass thru the back of the TV. but know knows, they make transparent OLEDs maybe they will make acoustically transparent OLEDs

  15. Very good points made. I'm currently using my living room as my HT, not ideal. Looking to build my dedicated Theater Room in a few years. These are points to keep in mind for sure.

  16. I mean, I still use a TV, and am getting a 97" LG G2. It's already replaced a projector for me, but only because I also play games and care a lot about HDR.

Center channel placement has never been an issue, and my TV's bottom is 30" off the ground.

  17. No PJ replacement any time soon Michael. 😎
Projectors themselves are just starting to peak in performance now, and personally, I think any newer technology is a long way down the road, especially at their current price point.

  18. I recently bought an 85” micro LED and could barely fit it down the stairs to my media room. I almost got a 98” and glad I didn’t. Maybe once that make these things roll up, but weight and size is a serious issue. IMHO projectors and screens come with their own trade offs. IT’s just a choice of which one fits your space best.

  19. You're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree with all of your points. The only thing that's kept PJs relevant is the image size, and they have still been becoming progressively more niche every year. Once micro LED becomes affordable, it will be the final nail in their coffin.

  20. These are great, practical points. I do love how OLED looks for HDR content and gaming, but there are drawbacks even if we had more affordable giant TVs. The big limitation for projectors is brightness – unless you can buy one of those 10,000 lumen Sony PJs.

  21. actually if it takes 6 micro tv's to make say 150" , if one or two of the screens start to discolor and it will show the difference from where they are joined and you have to spend again on a new panel then the others go while you just got newer panels earlier … its just a never ending panel buying … the idea is good but in the long run not to shure if its gonna be cost effective

  22. i am not to worried about the center channel as its below my screen already. And i would have to say most don't have a center channel behind the screen , not everyone has a built in wall like youthman .. and lets face it even below the screen i am pretty fine with the sound there , it still sounds like its coming from the center..

  23. Its coming sooner than you think 110 inch is deffo coming and be affordable but yes we are looking at 2030 if we are been realistic. And center channel can easily be solved its been shown that with 3 way speaker pointing up and have seating designed for reclining so the ear at the right ange while eye view is up works exactly as intended. The sound is deffo not a big issue just means design it right and thibk about it. Although i will admit makes it extremely difficult to have multiple row seats. But for single row it can even be better if designed well.

  24. A big chunk of Junk headed for landfills soon are called EVs , Lots mor Junk than TVs!!!

Price is still the worst Negative for now but when they Drop to 5k in price and they will I would have one!!

Audiophile 2.1 or 4.1 would be Plenty of Sound for most living area Home Theater IMO?

  25. I would think a mono centre channel played through a speaker either side of the screen would sound like a source in between them. Stereo won't (each speaker playing something different), but if both speakers are playing exactly the same thing, it should fool the brain.
