  1. Look for the breakdown on Rock Lee's training weights, and you'll find that no, it does not, in fact, make a difference when you take them off. You should stick to 10-12oz gloves strictly for the padding and extra support, not for punching faster w/o gloves. If you want a weightless experience, use muay thai rope wrap techniques

  2. 230 Dollars for boxing gloves that you will never except for that one purpose is just a waste of money. Save you’re money and just use resistance bands or shadow boxing with weights.

I bought an 18 oz gloves thinking it would make me faster in 10 oz gloves ..so i bought one and would do pads, bags , sparring everything with that ..thing is thats a myth …cause it changes your way of punching and you get adapted to it …..since the gloves were so heavy compared to a 10 oz , my hooks were different …

    then i came across a video where this boxing coach says if you wanna be fast , train with glovs you fight at ..I switched back to 10 oz gloves and never felt morebetter

    not saying that heavier gloves are useless but if speed is your goal , then heavier gloves arent it ..also lack of shoulder endurance is only a thing for beginners or guys who lack cardio ..I suppose if you do your daily miles , shoulder endurance shouldnt be a problem which is on of the reasons why people buy bigger gloves

    personally the best reason to buy bigger gloves would be for power punching …Lomachenko does that with 20 oz on the hevy bag

    just my opinion as someone who used 18 oz continuously for 4 months

  4. I mostly use some heavy resistance bands for my jabs, cross and overhand and use some 1kg dumbbells for the hooks and uppercuts. And have worked pretty well now i fell my punches are way more faster but also my endurance has improved

  5. It's sad how people are this stupid. Nothing of this shit works. If u want to punch faster do plyometric exercices. If u want to punch harder, do max force training and contrast training. Using something heavy in your hands only is going to ruin your form and its not good for ur shoulders. I hope someone reads this coment and save some money and time, because this is bullshit. But its still better than shadowboxing with dumbells. (Sorry if its something wrong, i dont speak a lot of english)
