  1. "California Camry" – I love that description. And it sums up what I want in a car. Practicality and reliability (even if it's a bit boring). Tons of information packed into this video; great job.

  2. I am still learning about the EV options. Question, would definitely consider a used EV, but what about battery replacement once that goes bad? I heard replacing the battery is crazy expensive.

  3. Thanks, yet again, for another important/impressive review. After a polite phone call from a Fisker rep. asking if I'd like to upgrade my Ultra to an Ocean One, I am coming to realize I'm Person B/C. He completely understood my hesitation about all the software issues and it being not fully baked. Kudos to him.

And apropos of nothing really, I have been obsessed with the used 2019 Audi e-tron with horrid range, but every single bell and whistle known to humans.

  4. Sorry I could never own a Tesla they are just so ugly looking. I don't understand why EVs need to be so ugly looking but the Ocean was and still is the only EV that I contemplated getting for my wife but with the delays we went with an explorer for now. I drive a truck and live in the north and use it for towing so until they figure out the cold / towing issues getting 100 miles of range with 40 minute recharge times just does not work. Maybe once they get solid state batteries figured out that can charge in a few minutes and provide 350 miles of range while towing or in the cold I can switch over but for now will stick with my PB Hybrid F150.

  5. What a thorough review, how come dedicated 'Fiskeresk' channels don't give us the facts, no answer required Adam. 🤭 I am just like you and fell in love with the FO looks, then the spec, then the price. Customer service and HF spin put me right off. Tesla of course lead the way with software innovation and VFM pricing, but I could never get on with their door handles even if you gave me a car. The other thing that occurred to me on my 2 year Fisker journey was that the more money you spend, the more you expect what you want – in terms of colours, gadgets and customer service. It will be great to see you with a Sport and to do a review of VFM etc

  6. You didn’t compare the build quality. Also you present as if they’ve been in production the same amount of time and you don’t really acknowledge to your viewer that Tesla went through these same growing pains. It’s clear which stock you own but you don’t post your holdings.

  7. BTW, I think I’m in Person C category. Ready to buy an EV but lost enough money on FSR stock to have purchased a FOE outright and this means 1) I don’t have enough money to purchase one, and 2) I’m aware and concerned about the way the company is run…enough to not believe all the promises.

  8. Happy New Year. Thanks for all the content and being the most reasoned and reasonable Fisker content producer. Looking forward to seeing if you take delivery of the Sport. I have seen zero review of the Ultra or Sport yet.

  9. Good video. I was a dedicated Honda buyer for decades. Then they no longer offered the type of car I wanted so switched to Subaru, which was superior to Honda for my use. Then bought a Model Y. Will never go back to gas. Not only that, after living with the Tesla can't see buying anything but Tesla at this point. The driving experience is spectacular, the software updates are amazing. The charging is flawless. The popularity of the Y means that there's a massive number of aftermarket products at low prices. Couldn't care less about "cool factor". Also can't see why anyone in North America would buy a CCS1 vehicle at this point. NACS only charging is rolling out for good reason. Thank God.

  10. The model Y does have blind spot monitoring with its camera system. It is activated upon turning on the turn signal. With the holiday update there is red shade if another vehicle is within your blind spot if you don't want to use the video feed to judge the distance yourself.

  11. The question is simple. Do yout want a car from a company that has a future and therefore spare parts and service or do you want a car from Fiskers next failed vanity project. The guy who lied shamelessly about his great solid state battery that charges 500 miles in two minutes. I have one question to ask for Fisker customers. How often does somebody have to lie to you until you get that he is a liar.

  12. Your best video yet. Super intense, i was riveted all the way through. i want to be A but i’m clearly B. Also living in Australia, it’s all theoretical. Y not is what i want to say.

  13. Great videos, I enjoy them very much, they are very informative and 99% accurate. Two things I may add, 1) Tesla still is more expensive than Fisker, I have Ocean Ultra, which is the same as a Model Y long performance, and still was 3k cheaper. I made the comparison prior buying and 2) Doug videos are very detailed and informative as well, but serves as a different point of view on Manufacturing. Also is not ethic to critique other people’s work in such a manner, all it says that you are looking confrontation to attract views at the dispense of belittling others reputation.

  14. Appreciate the videos. I've owned both an early vin Model 3 and early vin Model Y (was my current car). I was hesitant to move forward with my Ultra delivery but in the end I decided too. A big driver was value, I could get $10.5K in tax incentives (state and federal) for a Fisker but only $3k for a Model Y (just state). That might the price of both cars fairly similar. The process to purchase the Fisker was both strange and ridiculous (they wouldn't let me see the car until I bought it). I also talked to 7 different people in the two days before I got my car and most of them didn't know someone else had contacted me. That said, the car is really nice. If Tesla is a Honda, Fisker feels like an Acura, albeit one that has incomplete software. The only thing I really disliked was that I selected silver lining as a paint color; it's more ice blue then silver.

  15. Great video, and you are spot on. I have an Ocean One and a sport on order. I have had struggles with my interactions with Fisker, but it's still better than dealing with a dealership. You're videos are incredibly informative, much more than others that value production value over details, or as you mentioned Doug's… Apparently you get a ton of hits by saying "quirky" 70+ times per video. Even as an owner, I learn so much from your videos, especially of the features that have yet to arrive. Thanks for the work you do! Happy 2024!

  16. I may be a ABT 😉 mix, and a happy Mach e owner. Too bad Fisker wasn’t ready and world conditions have been against them. I’m glad I canceled even more after seeing what the new price in Canada would be.
Happy New Year. Hope 2024 isn’t a crazy one.
