It is very interesting to the suggestions that people should either buy gold or silver to hedge against inflation. My curiosity is why gold sellers would sell their gold and keep the dollars in their holding which the gold buyers wanted to get rid of it in the first place?

Much respect to Lynnette, & I agree with her on almost everything except the hyperinflation. Not yet anyway. The prevailing force last decade was deflation, in part to baby boomers retiring and low birth rates & this hasn't changed. CBDC gives a certain control over inflation by velocity in the real economy, instead of going to asset classes in the financial when they expand the money supply
