it drives me insane that you can't see how far your ships can do in 1 turn and that the green bar moves with the ship (instead of staying put and showing how for 1 turn of movement is)

Question? Why does a Governor lose 10 points of Loyalty when added to a new Planet? Happens every time I add a new Governor but it is not explained anywhere I can find… ?

Lasers are more powerful per se on paper.
Galac civ has this weird weapon system where power, weight, cost and, importantly, research are balanced for each weapon and defense system.
So laser are really powerful, but they are the longest to research. On the flip side laser defense is much cheaper to research, while kinetic defense is more expensive.
But yes, overall early game lasers are best.

I don’t see the appeal of the ai stuff. The games creators are supposed to create the lore of the game in a way that fits together with the other factions and the design.
4x games have struggled with ai forever this is not what ppl were asking for
