That Corundium on Mars is basically a dream come true, isn't it?
8 million corundium is an entire campaigns worth of the stuff.
you know as a kid i dreamed that maybe someday triple A like companies would be working on games like this, and we would be getting deep and complex games as time goes on. last game that really activated my almonds was Dwarf Fortress (im ancient in internet years, born in 1984)
wasn't there an undefended enemy planet in one of the systems? or am I remembering wrong.
You could rename ground forces into Earth Defense Force to ensure unbreakable morale! Nice episode

Fleet Overhaul –
1.
Creation of Taskforces as part of Fleets
Taskforces are fleets set up for specific purposes and can be flexible.
Within taskforces are Squadrons, a squadron is defined as four or more ships that work together.
Within Squadrons are divisions, each division is two ships and can be split off from squadrons for any purpose.
2.
Develop Cruiser-Heavy cruiser ships for main battleline role
Develop Enhanced recon and intelligence capabilities for taskforces
Develop New destroyers capable of proper escort duties
Develop enhanced fast sensor platform
Develop enhanced logistics capabilities, attached to taskforces as needed.
3.
Existing ships are to be reformed into purely defensive operations, and mines/laserplatforms are to enhance currently abilities.
The United earth states navy is at a significant technological disadvantage to the enemy and as such need to play on the defensive until capacity for new vessels and technology to support them is complete.
