❓ Who is Damo, and what’s this channel all about?
I was born and raised in a small town, Hamilton NZ, I have a passion for art and oil paintings, and on this channel I will provide a variety of full length painting lessons, lessons that will use both acrylic and oil paint.

I will also upload demonstrations of the more higher level painting videos, mainly to offer some helpful tips and inspiration for those that are stuck somewhere on their art journey and are looking for a direction of some sort.

I aim to:
1 – Teach beginners how to paint simple and great pieces of artwork, with lessons on the various techniques and how to mix colours (where required).

2 – Provide various courses to help practice specific techniques, such as blending, basic details, enhanced details and so on (repetition courses).

3 – Provide different levels of painting courses for beginners, artists with some skills, and advanced artists.

4 – Demonstrate how certain high level paintings come together.

5 – Showcase my own work and demonstrate how they are painted.
