Usually I’d think Nurgle and Slaanesh units pair well as hammer and anvil but Khorne and Slaanesh paired well enough in this
Medusa shots can't be dodged even by staggered pheonixes. I just wish their shots did more dmg to single entities. DE have ranged options for the other stuff.
The end there…why didn't the DE player just shoot the Keeper of Secrets to death with both of those medusas? Why rely on the always unreliable RNG.
That was a highly enjoyable video. Always good to see elite infantry pull out a win
Feels like going fairly elite is the way to make DoC sort of work. Single entities especially aren't affected by crumbling as much. Daemon players dream of a world where nurglings were able to hold the line as well as basic empire spearmen.
6:28 To be fair the normal medusa had 71 MA vs large in the end vs the keeper with 60 MD, and the Ror had 81 MA, so while the Ror had more opportunity to hit it only did 2 animations while the normal one was the one that more time to hit. The know-down on the RoR and rampage did not help their Ai too, so in y opinion a combination of luck, animation and the keeper having 60 MD did help the daemons.
PS: Even then the medusas did very well in this game, have alot of value, they can hit hard, good game though.
A few Corsairs, Witch Elves, or Sisters of Slaughter instead of Darkshards would've sealed the deal. Basic infantry are too outmatched against Exalted Bloodletters and Daemonettes and won't get to do anything before being routed.
Very intense fight, respect to the people who pick quality over quantity and make it work
Love watching daemons of chaos
You missed a very sexy fecundity that saved the game
Watching the medusas miss 40 times in a row was a nailbiting experience.
