  1. Thanks for this investigation and all the tech industry information from your experts Cam and the comments below. The use of fibre glass now obviously makes sense with metal contact areas. As a consumer its nice to understand this though as we are often marketed too, while not giving us all the facts. Very helpful to understand.

  2. I think this whole issue can be reduced down to three things.
    1. When elves make your frame as a cost cutting measure compared to humans, this is a false economy.
    2. Completely unverified if Gary's earrings are carbon fiber and he is still walking around.
    3. When the stem is flush with the top tube, this can create PTSD and dreadful flashbacks to riding a Look frame with imminent disaster and unfixable complexity.
Those are the top 3, but other issues mentioned in the video have relevance as well.

  3. Thanks. I was thinking about buying one but it's clear they are not right. This is based on other channels reviews aswell. Regardless of what your opinion is. The frame is still about €1200. That's not a cheap frame. Cheaper than some but to say it's cheap is ludicrous. The big question is value for money. You can't answer that question as nobody knows. Some say they don't last long in terms of stiffness, some say they become "dead" after a season. Buying a carbon frame based on price sounds like a buying the cheapest parachute to me.

  4. Good luck with transparency. This might be the manufacturer's trade secret to make their forks more resistant to breakage. Lauf fork use fiber glass in their leaf spring which is virtually unbreakable. Fishing rods made of FG can flex to infinity without breaking as compared to carbon graphite counterpart.

  5. Could be interesting but I can't help feeling that you cut away far too quickly when you're trying to show us some detail on the camera. By the time the lens has focussed, you've cut to the next scene / shot so we often really can't see what you're trying to explain.

  6. Careful with that type of ultrasonic thickness measurement, it could easily pick up an air bubble and makes it look like de-lamination or thin wall.
It uses the first to second interface detected to measure thickness.

  7. I love it when people wear dust masks when cutting carbon, it very wise.
What is not wise is taking it off after cutting and thinking carbon particles are not floating about in the air still 😮🤦‍♂️

  8. Why are U stuffing around with this Chinese Garbage Cam . U aint doing cycling or possible new cyclists a gr8 heads up . Stick with proven brands . Bianchi, Specialized, Cannondale, Trek , ect . If u call 1ST PROJECT in Melbourne 4 a Aero Bike … Italian Cippololinni .

  9. Some product tell us detail in description, wheter full carbon which is more expensive or not full carbon. Aliexpress product that didn't give detail about their product, just don't buy it guys.
