  1. Great video!. OpenMandriva also offers a KDE slim iso which has less apps by default. It doesn't include an Office suite. So you can pretty much just add the software you choose.

  2. 12:30 — I still prefer X 11 — one of the most controversial things in Linux is to get rid of it and how they act all dictatorial about Wayland. I am not against Wayland but I believe in freedom of choice. I use Wayland myself though. I got a new distro lately. It comes with it automatically. At least I don't have to worry about switching over anymore!

It drives me bonkers about "FOSS" and then this Wayaland dictatorship thing happens. Same with Steam NOT BEING OPEN SOURCE AND NO ONE EVER ADMITS TO IT! (Everyone goes all quiet about it when it suits them!

There's nothing wrong with you using BIOS! I think with "computer politics," we're in much agreement.

  3. That's looking good, OM. I might consider that OS for my app dev O/S. Currently my PC boots Windows and MacOS (MacOS only because my ProAudio DAW of choice is unfortunately Logic Pro) and trust me mate, the arseache in getting MacOS to work on a PC is incredible !!
