Jolly heretic. I must disagree with you. Christianity didn't force convert anyone until the catholic church came along. The fair portion of the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe, including ireland, was Christian long before then. Christianity grew out of the power of the holy spirit and people wanting to convert. When the catholic church gained power in Rome things changed. Then came Islam. Islam forced converted many of those lands to its new religion by means of murder and fear. Strangely enough, there were no Muslims before islam. Lol. Then the catholic church fought back. In the meantime, nominal Christianity was making in-roads with the reformation. Then the Christians and catholics started murdering each other on mass. Before all this, "Christianity" was the true religion of peace. And, it still is. But, of course, I refer to True Christianity, not the churchy kind of nominal Christianity like the protestants and catholics. I expect you've never met a true Christian but they do exist. It was by the power of the holy spirit, and love, that Christianity first took root and not the point of a sword. There's a big difference. Your main problem is, you see Nominal Christianity as "Christianity" (true followers of Christ) when it's not. Anyway, on with the show.

Charlie, just remember that when they shout "god is great" they are not referring to the same God we in the West pray to. They pray to a god who demands blood everyday for his breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and maybe a nightcap before bedtime. "He" is a god that loves death more than life.
