If it wasn't so expensive, I would commission you to make a mask for me. I really wish it were possible.
Your dolls and puppets are so lifelike and expressive, I can feel their emotions and personalities. You are a master of your craft!
Using yak hair seems a bit harsh. I personally would recommend using angora. Or, if you prefer using hairs that are more tapered, I would suggest squirrel tail or rabbit, or even skunk, (yes, skunk). The squirrel, (preferrably red squirrel), or rabbit work well for fair-haired indiduals, especially red-heads. The skunk fur works well for darker-haired individuals, as well as for eyelashes. These fur pelts can be ethically sourced from local taxidermists. Commonly, they'll come from roadkill sources, or animals, even former pets, that have passed on from natural attrition. (No, I do not support killing animals for sport or commerce.)
