How about they take our money and give us a real iq test when we first make are my player like a sim game where you choose the difficulty and the A.I evaluate what level you should be or give us tourneys or makes us register with our ages and ids so we can play with our age groups and levels if not a pro but I ain’t trash I should be able to playing with other intermediate old heads and not kids that never hooped in real life

You’re on the right track with a lot of these. However, one thing 2K can’t fix is that so many players are selfish crybabies. Like you said, they don’t get the ball 2 plays in a row and immediately start acting a fool. They only get 1 shot attempt in the 1st quarter, they start sending toxic messages to teammates. So much bs to deal with. There’s been countless times where I barely get the ball the whole 1st half. Guess what tho, I keep playing the right away, wait for my chances, and suddenly I’ve got 20 points in the 2nd half. Just be patient and be a team player, is that so much to ask? People just care more about their own stats more than winning, that’s what it comes down to. People quit out all the time when their team is winning just bc they aren’t getting the ball enough. It’s ridiculous. Vote out teammate, bigger penalties for intentionally losing, and bigger penalties for quitting would help for sure, but people just gotta get their shit together, that’s the biggest thing.
Brute I understand there are randoms who make the rec experience terrible but the issues go both ways,
I have literally seen and played with squads of 3 where if the guard is having a bad game they start blaming the randoms they are not feeding the ball and just make an effort to never pass to them through the whole game and the voting system is a bad idea because ppl will just load in with their squad and kick whoever the random is from the game
And mike wang needs to get replaced, the game needs a new director cause this feels nothing like basketball and is badge reliant to the point where play now isn’t even fun anymore cause every player without badges feels like a high schooler.

I like the greater penalties idea. If we include negative actions for PURPOSELY refusing to share the ball with EVERYONE on the team. I can't even count how many times I start a game as the PG and I can't get the ball to setup the offense or get it back when I'm wide open. You lose the game then these MORONS talk about you scored under 10 points yet they weren't passing the ball your way. There's a badge in the game that rewards people for waiting wide open on offense, so why aren't we using poor defense to our advantage 🤔. I think that if you are at a C grade or better and decide to quit, because you're getting sold, that it shouldn't impact your record or status. This should be an option that pops up automatically based on offensive usage. If your team is racking up "refusal to pass" penalties while you're open then being allowed a free pass to leave would be a great option. You will NEVER see any nba player playing an entire game, be wide open and not get passed the ball. They pass to horrible 3 point shooters when they're open. Our community needs a real hard dose of reality. Basketball is about the team, not excluding anyone and not about one player trying to be superior at the cost of hurting the team. Also, keep in mind people that some randoms are better than your friends yet you keep them out of the loop, DUMB.

#1 & 2 would probably be too difficult to track, so I’d stick to basing it on teammate grade average. Forcing players to be better individuals by being better team players. Play defense, make good passes, take good shots.
Me myself do not even pass to the CPU but to re-position the ball or clear out I never pass to the robot
2k should add 6 different arenas 6 different pickup game uniforms to choose from with a vote to skip arena/uniforms and VOTE TO KICK. we want to see peoples stats and %s and also peoples hot zones/build attributes. we dont know what our randos can even do because we cant see what they can do or what badges they have. we need a major overhaul in this 2k stuff. rec games are suppose to be pickup games focused on 1 on 1 and working on your game/having fun. i want a solos only rec or if youre a 5 man you have a pro am type matchmaking instead of playing against solos. tired of goin in after work for a couple games and 2/3 games are me with randoms against a zone running 5 out. almost impossible to have fun as a solo/duo or even a trio in the rec due to randoms iq levels against zone.
I have 62 win% shoot 72 from 3 in the rec usually have 2 others i run with would b nice to find a couple other good players to run with

I never thought I wanted a vote a person out option but it's necessary to get obvious knuckleheads off the game. I also like the bigger grading for doing the fundamentals that work for playing with teammates. 2k really messed things up with that scoring for the legend.
Rec would be overall better if you had better servers the lag makes average players shitty Rec just ppl wanting to play not taking seriously like pro am better lag would make ppl shoot a lil better right now they could be wide open and lag would still make them mistime it

The worst thing about this is all this fixable and implement-able. 2k just lazy af and I’m glad they all got fired. They already have good AI programmed. Why does it not just carry over from the mycareer, they already have super detailed player stats/2k cards. Why not add logic to the data that’s already there. They already have a grieving system. Why isn’t it more aggressive?
Game is beyond unfun as a solo. Haven’t played in weeks.
Keep the 1 v 1 in the theater because playing with randoms ain't the move
Thing about the AI i feel like it should reflect off of the players shooting % instead of just 50% because if the player is good at shooting then the AI should be good at shooting and but if a player sucks at shooting then the AI should be bad at shooting.

Season 3 had the best AI’s. Had multiple games where the AI would hit every three, get most rebounds. Etc…
The fact that the rec quest is 6k points leads me to believe 2K enjoys the toxic shit that goes on in the rec. It gives people a reason to be selfish as hell and unless you're the PG or a big (God forbid you're playing the 3), you're pretty much fucked on casually achieving it

I’m a good player I shoot over 60 percent from 3pt range and also the 2 average 28 pts and it be dudes who freeze me out cause they came into rec together but won’t pass u the ball and these dudes be completely garbage they can’t score can’t play defense taking bad shots turning the ball over and the player who is doing the right things won’t even get the ball so u can’t blame people for trolling and standing out of bounds

When I run solo, I have a three strike rule. 3 losses in a row I’m done with 2k for the day.
Really appreciate the content. Most importantly spacing. That is the most important aspect of how they should come up with weather in player is good or not. And is defensive. But Brut @brutalsim please do not allow them to create this poorly constructed grading system. That hurts good players. Like receiving defensive penalties when guarding cheesy left-right shrimp point. I absolutely hated that about 2k22. I would guard a really small PG and he's either going to get a layup or three every time regardless I was playing nothing short of amazing defense he's just to fast.
I set rules when playing rec with randoms … n they hella strict and I think we need to start normalizing with not playing with causals, playing with all slashing builds or inside bigs that don’t pass out. 2k def need to fix these AIs and implement a system to vote people out but that can lead to some issues also. Cause if you walk in solo you can be out numbered by ppl not running with 3-4
That is crazy that u said the 3 times out of bounds penalty. It should be the same for inside the point after every quarter. They should be violated and kicked out of the game.
Imma be honest y all wanting things n complaining but 2k don't care since 2k19 or 18 can't remember they want to force people to squad up they don't care about your rec complainings they won't change anything for solo players
i am a playmaker who AVG 11.6 assist per game literally every game i have 12-15 assists i barely score i look for passing first but randoms when you give em sometimes the ball they tryna iso force stuff and they get mad off that and start selling a game that we already up by 15-20 pts to loose because 1 PERSON STANDING OUTTA BOUNDS OR MAKIN 3 SEC RULES AND LEAVING THEIR OPPONENT OPEN. I AM FUCKIN TIRED BRO
I think 2k should either add a solo queue option for rec or add the leave assignment thing so people when they try to run a zone in rec will lose a bunch of teammate grade

Good suggestions but i would tweak it like this: player 3 times out of bounds(maybe after 2 times already), kick him from the game. ai should be the same build as the player who it replaces, not a „85“ who is not able to do anything.
Sometimes I go to rec I end up in a team that know each other I'm not touching the ball from the Start I created a 99 rebound 85 vertical point forward so I get my own rebound and run down the court and take my own shot usually it's a dunk because of course we matched up against a full organized team and they gon try to triple team cause they know I'm beeffing with my teammates
Like I said before they should just make a whole server for walk-on 5v5 similar to the event center and if you want you can squad up with people and the more your five wins you get prizes based on a tier.
And if you play solo rec there should be a better matchmaking system that match people based on grade and allow us to back out as we please. We can watch courts in the park and see the people before the game starts why can’t we for 5v5? 5v5 needs more attention.
They gotta start penalizing players for selfish play and quitting. And by penalizing I mean banning. Or, make it so that you have to reach a certain grade average to play rec. Because now it's out of control and damn near unplayable.
