  1. Im a huge fan of your draft, always love me weather drafts. Only mon I really wish you picked up was pyroar as a tera captain, I think its super underated since it has taunt, and a bunch of other things that differentiate it from zard, while also being cheaper. Not even sure you had the points left for him over greedent cuz a lot of your mons were expensive. GL and I hope you do well this season 🙂

  2. Easily in my top 3 coaches for this league. Love the team! I’m trying rain out right now in a nat dex league and I have the same feeling about weather that you shared early in the video. Can’t wait to see how gouging fire plays! Good luck coach!

  3. Ayyy Chase fun team as always. I love the angle and I love Gouging Fire as a R1 pick. The double dino sun core is fire. A couple of potential flaws I noticed in your team you may want to keep in mind during prep if you don't wanna make a FA move:

You have a LOT of Pokemon in or around the 100-109 speed tier (Ninetales, Wake, Shocks, Lilligant, Mismagius, and with Gouging Fire trailing close behind and nothing above 109) so your speed tiers are condensed. I think this is going to result in you relying on Sun a LOT more than you are hoping to outspeed some faster threats and will unintentionally allow your opponent more bulky EV spreads than one would hope. Also, offensively, I worry your hazard game is too predictable with Shocks being your only rocker. Needing Ninetales for Sun support to mitigate your speed tiers and Sandy Shocks for Rocks I worry will make for some very constrictive team building.

However, I do think your team has a lot of cool tricks to offer and offensively will be very hard to prep for. I look forward to this season, as always. ♡

  4. This team looks goated. Also, thank you for putting the base stats up there. Really nice to see the numerical side since those are the hardest thing to remember about all 1000+ Pokémon

  5. Love the team big fan of sun this generation, but as someone that has tried VERY hard to make ninetales work in OU… torkoal is DEFINITELY the better sun setter 😢

  6. What a fun team. Really feels like it can do whatever you want while still being a weatherdraft (you know, the type of draft which biggest hindrance is that it is stuck doing the same thing over and over).

Whether you rock out in the sun, just click buttons with Hoopa or say fuck let's rock the fat squirrel, it looks like a draft where you always and up a victor; perhaps you'll lose the match, but you go down laughing.

Oh and sidenote, respect for the Ninetales over turtle. Ninetales fits way better, especially due to BP and Healing Wish (Wish fits your offense so well).

Good luck and more importantly have fun man ❤

  7. I welcome you to the Gouging Fire club, we meet on Tuesdays to discuss how our lord and savior will win for us 👏

but for real, super excited and a little jelly about this season, looks like a ton of fun!
