  1. I'm glad you point out that a great game is reliant not on graphics, but gameplay. The prettiest graphics do not make a great game. Extremely fine graphical detail doesn't mean a game is playable or even good……….*COUGH COUGH** STAR CITIZEN *COUGH COUGH*

  2. Yeah unfortunately the game runs like ass and UE5 is running like ass on PC with a tone of problems. Calisto Protocol has horrible performance and most of the other titles.

  3. I wish game developers would care less about realistic graphics but more about STORYTELLING. The world needs more masterpieces like Life Is Strange and not the 1.305.364th shooting game.

  4. Once we can digitally replicate reality or variations of it – via AI at 60+ fps then the next frontiers are physics and AI behavior.

In the very near future many people may prefer to spend most of their time in the digital or virtualized world, simply because they can control that world – and feel safer there. A host of mental and physical problems will ensue.

Universal Basic Income – will become a necessity once physicalized AI and AGI have taken most human jobs.

  5. It doesn't matter how realistic games look. Better graphics will never make a crappy game good. Like if Superman 64 looked like this it would still be a shit game. Once we have actual living breathing worlds where every action we take truly affects the world around us, or NPC's that can think for themselves then that will truly be next gen.
