Hyper G has never been a spin monster. Making it smooth and putting it in a full bed doesn’t seem like a great idea. I think the marketing for this definitely should be targeted at hybrid setups, including with shaped poly’s in the mains.
Have you measured its characteristics?Stiffnes ,tension loss ,spin?How woulf you compare it with hyier g soft?
For juniors, at what point would you recommend to transition from multi to poly? Thanks
I too would be really interested in playing it in the crosses in a hybrid with regular Hyper G in the mains. Love regular Hyper G, but the launch angle is sometimes a bit unpredictable, so having the round cross should help tame it, in addition to allow easy snap back.
Feel like regular hyper g mains and this in the crosses could be a great combo

Great review. I'm a Hyper-G user and love it for the reasons in the video – long tension maintenance (over 20 hours), very spin friendly, arm friendly and really cheap. I am a spin player though so probably best to stick with regular Hyper-G.
Love your reviews and the hyper g too is my main string…. Is it too slippy? is mixing both the best? Or just stick with what you know lol
