Levi was undoubtedly an influence on the mystical and occultic practices and beliefs in the late 1800s, influencing certain people and societies, including Madame Blavatsky, the Theosophical Society and Aleister Crowley.

Thank you Ed, for another excellent video. Yeah, the solar eclipse hype, along with all the wicked stuff in the culture, goes back to the ancient Roman Empire and before them, Babylon, the Phoenicians, the ancient Egyptians and who knows before them. Social engineering has been pushed hard since the mid 1960s in the modern era (some would argue since the beginning of modern advertising, as simple as it was, in the 1600s. The cynical might include the first printed King James Version as a form of social engineering). I find all of the LGBTQ+ hype to be rather annoying, since only a tiny fraction of the population has any or all of those preferences. As far as the solar eclipse, I'm in Dallas TX, which the latest weather forecast predicts will be too overcast to actually see the eclipse with the special glasses (I have a pair just in case I can see something) and it's just going to go from cloudy overcast to darkness for about 4 minutes, then back to cloudy overcast. But what is interesting to me is how the moon is the perfect size and its distance and orbit is precisely correct to enable a total solar eclipse to happen at all. I've never heard an adequate explanation for that humongous coincidence.
