I've never really recommended dramas since alot of people already do but I've decided to not only benefit from recommendations but to also contribute 🙈 mines are:
My lethal man – the first part of the series is kind of a big pill to swallow but stick it out, I promise it's worth it! The chemistry!! The kisses when they happen!! 🔥🔥
Please be my family – when I tell u these 2 kids will invoke every emotion in you!! The story is just so sweet! Give the male lead a chance from the worst decision he made at the beginning of the series. I promise you'll fall in love with him and their story is so interesting. It also shines light on mental stability 👌 this really deserves some stars 🤩✨✨✨
When i fly towards you – I've watched this 4 times (don't judge 😂) it is one of those feel good, non-toxic, can't help but put a smile on your face type of high school dramas. Great to watch when you're having a bad day/week. The female lead may seem boy crazy but she's a real gem!! You will fall in love with 5 ppl from this ❤
Exclusive fairytale – OMG!! The male lead!! Seems cold and quiet but so caring! U dont gotta wait for him to fall in love bcuz he already is from the start 😂😂 same female lead from when i fly towards u with almost the same persona. Bubbly and ez to love and the parents are fabulous!! If u wanna watch jealousy at its finest then yep this is for u ❤
Love at night – released from 2021 but deserves a mention! If u love that mature kind of love and the chemistry!! The kisses 🙈😂😂 the male lead is too handsome. He seems like a cold ceo but he cares all day everyday 😂😂 the female lead is smart and successful too (she also comes in intense love! Another great drama btw 👀)
Falling into you smile – the only reason it was not mentioned up top is mainly due to how often I've watched this drama so my heart is now content😂😂😂😂 eSports, cold and caring male lead, cute female lead and the games they play, the graphics are awesome 😎
Cute programmer – the male lead annoys me sometimes and the extents the female lead was willing to go to be with this man is unbelievable but there's something about this drama that has you falling in love with it… (That little period of time when he and his family thought he was gay! 😭😭😂😂😂) Anyways, maybe it is bcuz they are CLEARLY meant for each other. It's a sweet love story and that satisfaction you get when she finally realized her worth is just the chef's kiss 💋
Hello Mr. Gu – typical story of opposites attract.. the female lead seems crazy and childish but she's smart and works hard. The male lead comes off as though he thinks he's too good for her but their story is sweet. The antagonist is a real bitch but when she gets hers, it is just sheer satisfaction 😂😂
I Hear You – Zhao Lusi is just a phenomenal actress. You cannot help but love her in every drama and the male lead! 😍😍🔥 soooo handsome and the story is so cute!! (I should be tired of this term by now 😂) but really really worth the watch if you like seeing hate turned to love stories or rather misunderstandings turned to love 😁
Arsenal Military Academy (ama) – one word: MASTERPIECE 😁 it isn't bursting at the seams with romance but I promise you will not regret it if u can overcome the first part of episode 1 with all the explanation about China's military. It's not long though. The series itself is long but not drawn out at all… everything was necessary.. to me anyways..
Unforgettable love – there isn't anything extra about their love that makes it unforgettable really tbh but the storyline is amazing 😍 the kid is cuteness overload and the female lead is beautiful with a brain!😂
You Are So Sweet – man oh man! This one is just addictive 😂😂 the comedy especially between the 2nd leads! The romance is sweet as heck! Not much misunderstandings between the main couple but they had a few obstacles. How in the hell she can't see that that's her man under that mask is beyond me though 😭😭😂😂
Legally Romance – one of the first dramas I watched but it still captivates me when I rewatch. It is fun with 2 lovers who live to compete with each other. Don't lose interest when u see the female lead going back in time. Trust me, the story is great and the story in the past ties into the one in the present beautifully. I LOVED the dad-daughter relationship and how they highlighted grief and the different ways ppl process pain and loss. Once again, worth it!!

Honorable mention:

Love designer (2020) an all around great drama. The romance just flows naturally.. alot of bumpy roads for the leads but worth the watch.

Well Dominated Love – if you like having a smart and witty female lead with boss moves then you'll love the lead in this. The male lead is handsome and a CEO so 😉 their story is a bit cliche with the whole memory loss thing but very much worth the watch.

I've watched alot but these stand out for recent times especially since I've been rewatching a few of those mentioned 😂😂
