Had to pause halfway and try the prologue for myself. Proceeded to go through several runs to try and decipher as many words as I could.

I've now played the game a few times through (and using chapter select) because I'm hyper-focused like that lol. Also the dictionary saves in your game slot, so it's interesting going back and seeing the words that showed up from before. Some words make more sense after doing alternate actions too!
I also did a run in Japanese, because I wondered if playing it with Japanese in mind might make it easier. For example: I got to use いる/ある for "here" and いない/ない for "gone" and it made more sense to me.
Interesting to note though is that the sentence structure is still more EN-like than JP-like: It's usually a subject-verb-object structure, while in JP, the verbs are usually at the end.
Anyway, I really can't wait for the full game. It was fun trying to figure it out as a group. Plus we finally have male spooky hotties! Thanks for the stream and looking forward to the rest someday!

But the spin on pretty ghost husbandos and the whole mystery/horror atmosphere is really something else. Can’t wait for this to have its full release!! I hope the pond can complete the game together, this was so much fun!!

What a cool game!! I’m excited for the full release, I was captivated watching this! It manages to show what I find so incredible about communication, language, the transmission of ideas, the excitement that comes from understanding, when it all comes together! My favourite moment was when you could understand that Mr. Crawling wanted to reassure you with Fear/Worry/Scare – Gone/Missing! Sorry if I sound too excited, it’s a topic that’s very dear to my heart, haha! Thank you for playing this Shinri!

there's a couple similar games on this concept that I know of, and they're all good (7 days to end with you is the one I've seen folks play and can vouch for, but there's a couple others)
First one that's more of a horror-bent that I've seen, though, and that's fascinating. Wonder how they'll build on it for release
