  1. Server vNext Roles & Features:
    1. All of them need to be upgraded to 2024/5, make sure they use the latest secure protocol, can work in IPv6 only network, and work over QUIC. use TLS 1.3/1.4/etc…
    DNSSEC/DANE/DoT/DoH/etc…
    ACME/CAA/CT/etc…

  2. Can we echo our top request here for Server vNext?
    1. Server to Server communication over QUIC, with fully firewall control (default to fully lock-down), no incoming or outgoing ports should be enabled by default. (any ports that should be enable must be done manually or by a service that needs it, and in the firewall, there must be a comment to state which service/program enable that port and for what reason).
If we disable a firewall port, we should see a note of all the services/programs that it will affect.
    2. When installing the OS, give a list of ports needed to complete the installation, with the option of unselecting one or all of them. Make sure the OS can install without the internet. When connecting to Microsoft sites & services, use only secure protocol for a secure connection using Microsoft own ROOT-CA Certificates.
    3. NO THIRD-PARTY app or software, only Microsoft apps & programs, or give us the option to NOT install them.
    4. Must have a RESET/BACKUP/Restore option for most service, like the firewall and other services.
