  1. Roger Dubuis = High end Invicta. However, they have the history and know how to produce haute horology. They just need to tone it down, stay away from dated douchebag design, go back to more classic and traditional.

  2. I have a Roger Dubuis chronograph in rose gold with the caliber RD680, exceptional finish and elegant design. but yeah, no one buys them, I 100% understand what you mean.

  3. Some of them are terrible but the early ones are superb especially the Homage collection. Even the big terrible designs are incredibly well made with beautiful movments. Good video by the way

  4. Tastless designs and a logo that looks like something from Wish… Just what I would like from a 100 000 dollar watch :p Most of them makes Richard Mille and Hublot look classy. With that said – the "dials" do look expensive to make, and the craftsmanship is probably nothing to frown at.

  5. Roger Dubuis, the avant garde Geneva watch brand, has introduced an effective alternative to the tourbillon, and it’s a world first – a watch movement with four sprung balances. The Roger Dubuis Excalibur Quatuor Silicium. Called the Quatuor and introduced in the company’s Excalibur case, the movement’s balances are paired, two and two, and positioned at 90 degree angles to one another, linked by differentials. Each balance operates at 4 Hz, adding up to 16 oscillations per second. By distributing the effects of gravity across the four balances, these effects are negated, thus resulting in a more consistent timekeeping rate. All the technical detail aside, the movement is quite stunning to behold and the sound of four balances ticking brings to mind a field of locusts (in a good way). Masterpiece and all

  6. I like their Excalibur micro rotor skeleton model. Especially in steel on bracelet. Other models are either tacky looking or ugly designed despite the high end movement finishing.

  7. Dial is way too busy. If they uncluttered the dial, even if they use odd coloring or even standard colors, it would look much better. There is no doubt it's a well designed and well made. I can see a person who is economically well off and not a watch person would get it as a one and done. Even more so if they are going pre owned.
