The approach looked a little low to my untrained eyes. But it looked fine once you got deep into the oval.

I do have an opinion on left arm going downtube so early: doesn't help in a wing that holds a lot of energy, is stiffer in roll, and can go long in ground effect. My main wing is a Litesport, very similar (I flew the RX a few times too), I only switch when in straight final. I even go upright with both hands in base bar, then switch, and find that's the safest way to handle turbulence. You can keep speed until in ground effect, where turbulence wont be an issue anymore
