  1. What do you want me to research next? 👀
Also FYI, attack and work speed do NOT affect harvesting natural resources. Work Speed will affect work with a progress circle (Logging Sites, Stone Pits, etc.)

  2. Personally from my experience anubis is the best based on his likelihood to not get bugged out when it goes to sleep, eats, or moves to the next node.

I have an ore and coal farm base with 5 anubis, 5 farmers (water, planting, harvesting, transport), and cookers that I left for 5 days to see what would happen and they never bugged out and they filled up my boxes.

Which is way better than my old one where I would have to either be in base watching them or else they would bug out

  3. I have just been mining out the 6 copper nodes with digtoise in my party while mining them and storing the ores by hand, which only takes me like 1-2 minutes and they respawn almost together and I do it again in like an hour.

  4. Digtoise isn't for mining ore at base. He's for party mining. Especially if you mine with him. You destroy a node within seconds.

At base he's for stone gathering. 2 at a stone station can net over 1k stone in under 20 mins easy. Maybe faster. I didn't test myself. Just noticed they had 1k very shortly after I dumped it. 🤷‍♂️

Hell 2 tombats early on can get you over 5k even with building stuff. Cement however will take more than what they can produce imo.

But yea base ore isn't for digtoise. Stone station is his bread and butter. Haven't gotten anyone better than him yet as we haven't seen them lol. Just found Palatious boss location 🤣

  5. You need more views and subs for the amount of work you put into your videos. I always come back to you knowing you have all the numbers for us. Thank you kindly!

  6. Which is the best active miner then. I feel like digtoise is overrated because he can dig 1 ore fast but if you are farming 8 ores in the church i feel like rushoar is still the best. are there any other pals that can work as active miner that are faster than these 2.

  7. Anubises are the only workforce you need.
Especially since you can chain breed your entire workforce to have Artisan+Serious+Work Slave if you catch a good enough Rushoar and Nitewing
    Rushoar+Nitewing = Petalia
Petalia+Mossanda = Lyleen ((best planter, very good gatherer)
Lyleen+Tombat = Azurobe (semi-best watering.. if you want real best use Ragnahawk instead of Tombat for Jormuntide, but the bastards are way too big and get stuck constantly)
Lyleen+Ekhyrdeer Terra = Anubis (best worker and 2nd best miner after Blazamut – but you can't breed that one with worker passives so good luck breeding enough of them to get the passives on chance lol)
Added plus, after anubises break all deposits, they also clean up after themselves so you save up on having to use too many transport pals. You just need enough of them so that they break the deposits fast enough before the sun sets – else get some nocturnal transporters like your failed speed breeding Vanwyrms (not sure work speed does anything for transport, but movement speed sure does)

  8. If this stab bonus from paladius helps it do more damage to the nodes it makes me wonder if the other stab bonuses effect other pals damage. Earth emperor on anubis and the other ground types etc etc. I'm also curious if it stacks for multi type pals. Example being astegon as it's a dragon and dark type. With divine dragon and lord of the underworld will these bonuses stack? Or even effect astegon at all I wonder

  9. Didn’t believe digtoise sucked and had 5 at my mining base. Watched this video and tried swapping for other pals and the results are way better. Great video!

  10. i wonder if species are kinda grouped up, even within the same food value, because while it's displayed in whole integers (of bread), it might actually be that like someone with a 6 food value is like 6.5 instead and it just rounds the display. just a random guess though.

  11. I think the thing about Digtoise isn't so much that it's a joke, but rather that it's meant to be used in a different way to the rest. The effects of its Headband make it the best at harvesting natural ore nodes when summoned from your party, but in order to make the Headband matter, they made default Digtoise super weak without it, which is why it's absolutely awful when assigned to work in a base as opposed to being crazy good when mining directly from your party. (especially if you have an Alpha/Lucky Digtoise who can more easily hit multiple ore nodes at a time with a single attack, shredding them all to bits in seconds.)

In short, definitely take a Digtoise with you when you need to go on mining trips out in the wild (maybe even two of them if you have a party slot to spare and don't want to deal with the skill cooldown while mining a big cluster of ores), but DO NOT waste your time and resources trying to use any in your bases.

  12. Good use of the scientific method… I was impressed with your expression of the steps and implementation, taking responsibility for errors in tests, and overall effort put in.

    Grats

  13. Doing god's work, thank you for all the effort you've poured into this. I usually went with reptyro but was agonizing over choosing blazamut or astegon as my final mining buddies. I knew astegon is technically the highest mining capable pal but issues with dark type, size and pathing made me wanna go for blazamut. I will definitely end up testing a 4* astegon for giggles to see if having just one or two is enough for a mining station versus three blazamuts.

  14. So checking understanding here and if I missed something, but does Paladius celestial emperor giving 20% neutral damage affect their numbers at all if you should pass it to a miner, and does skills like artisan affect their ability mining? I heard rumors about work speed not affecting ranching pals and was curious if it was the case for miners and stone pit

  15. Its weird being an engineering student graduate, liking numbers video like these i shared this to my IT friends and the moment you pulled the numbers they said they dont want to watch anymore haahha

How about trying to see the increase of efficiency in the level of their work suitability? Like lvl 3 transporting vs lvl 4 or kindling lvl 2 vs kindling lvl? Im sure whatever you test itll have a similar numbers to whatever work suitability

  16. Sooo much time wasted with Digtoise. I'm using four of that pal at all three bases and I knew that I should have more than what I'm getting. Thank YOU for this info. l'll be swapping them with other pals immediately

  17. my low work per nut rate is why my GF left me…. lol no seriously though incredible video… would love a series of this to find the most efficient pals for each category for least amount of food

  18. I get the feeling that attack speed/hits might be a factor in metabolism. I'm reminded of durability systems in other games where more hits means faster drain making faster attacking classes need to constantly need to repair weapons and this is the main issue Digtoise suffers so much since its mining animation does all those hits draining hunger faster than usual thus it ends up eating way too much.
