Surprised that no gnorps made it to the list as that is a game all about mining one single rock 🤣
And looking back to my list of played games in 2023 I found a lot of mining games, though they are not new like Craft the World, Dig or Die. Also found the game that Autoforge reminded me a lot of and that is Survival Vacancy.

I like the look of Geodepths, it reminds me of a game I made, but abandoned. Happy new year!

I swear the "Dungeons" series has to be the least serious and most fun game series with all the jokes and funny elements in it.
Put the money into Dwarf Fortress rather than Mountaincore.
Starting with 7 dwarves (Mountaincore) sounds like Dwarf Fortress. 😉

Blastronaut is also a good mining game i can think of.
I ragequit and deleted Mining Mechs the other day. New game plus gets you a token that boosts your next run, yeah? So I played through the main game, got my token, then played through the DLC and got another token. Decided I wanted to play through the DLC again as I feel the balance was better, and the new game started with zero tokens, essentially deleting all my progress…. Really frustrating.
