I wish salvage would be T2 instead of T1
The rats spawned greatly depend on the area where you are running these. E.g. in a 1.0 or 0.9 system, no rats will spawn at all. Going to Null sec, you'll have the chance of spawning battleships and if you are (un)lucky even dreads and possibly titans. If a dread spawns, you can just forfeit the site, as only industrials up to medium can enter and that's never enough firepower to damage the Dread rat.
its much worse in high sec than last year , but then its high sec ….almost pointless evenb doing any of it now …and vanguard wont load either so thats the usual CCP fail !

Event is unplayable so few sites 8 people could camp all lowsec in the game. Heres the jota blob go gank any caldari 1 spot, heres the gallente storm in LS check 5 systems kill 1/4 of players.
I keep logging off instead of getting predictably ganked in such a tiny kill zone.
Not only not playing it, but everything is gouged so just not playing eve at all during this event.
The event is disappointing this year in LS and HS. I am not in a NS corp so I doubt I would try it there. Especially after seeing the drops you got.
I was looking forward to this event and planned my ships for it most of the year. Buying fittings slowly to maximize market savings and ensuring skills are where they need to be.
CCP screwed up again by nerfing all the rewards. It is getting to the point that it isn't worth playing.
Cannot help but think this just shows the massive difference between rich veterans and the average player, not many will run 8 accounts, a lot might sub a few accounts, but 8? I guess you might have more running, but thats not the average player.
Explo sites in null and hisec very poor. Rng monster may have not been on my side. Used to like this event but underwhelmed this year. Might try combat sites but not holding my breath.
Hey Strange Net, are you planning on doing a similar test with the other types of event sites?
Please be mindful that this is in HighSec. ISK per hour rises considerably in low and null sec.Cap rewards this year imo
I hate when games get infested with multi boxers.
As a player of 2 years the growing trend is every activity makes less ISK and the game requires so much time to even get close to making Omega. Meaning the game is becoming more and more pay to play.
Im spoiled by nullsec. With my rattlesnake i get like 200/h. The Best Thing i hat recently was r64 mining. 2 hulks+porpoise ~800mil in 1.5 hours
12 hours? In null? That's disappointing.
Low sec has 50% better loot drops, tested with corp last night it is noticeable diffrence
I take it you were doing these mining sites in Null?
Kudos to CCP for the festive skill points for log on but I consider this a distraction. And did you spend a long time travelling back home and/or selling this stuff?
Just be mindful of the pvp fit prospect and endurance. Goofy little fleets of them with blasters and points.
Got 60 white boxes and 6 of the big ones and got 1.3b estimated loot in total. The sites can be contested and pvp should be expected, what is imo the fun part of the whole thing. Lowsec that is.
UPDATE: ran 2 more sessions, one with 117 white crates/1 big crate and one session with 43 white boxes/1 big crate

FYI: you used to be able to hit Ctrl + W to close the pop up once opening the box to avoid having to click everything. It speeds up opening loot boxes allot. I'm not sure if it still works though, might have to give it a ago.
I made around 400M running combat sites in my Gila in HiSec so around 10-15 an Hr. some drops are better then most, but the average is around 4M-8M.
I got a Sansha mod worth 140m in one of the green (highsec) boxes…. it's a good thing to have running on the side while I'm doing my day job.
Tried the hacking sites and the loot is very very poor,,
oh i even tryed to cloaky-loki in the hacking sites, no luck aswell.. didn’t even catch a heron .. bob hates me these days
null nexus data sites are rubbish, put me of hacking for good
80m per hour (including the luck drop) is not worth it at all imo. salvaging in pocheven with a heron makes more sense then this event..
i tryed the combat sites in highsec and tryed to pvp in mining and combat sites.. couldnt render a single kill.
im very disappointed with this event so far. sry for this being the first comment for that vid.
