Nine miners are trapped after a landslide hit a gold mine in the Turkish province of Erzincan February 13, according to Turkeyโ€™s Energy and Natural Resources Ministry. Search and rescue teams have been dispatched to the area and an investigation into the incident has been launched.

  1. The wording is so curious to me. The landslide didn't hit the gold mine, the gold mining caused the landslide. In any case, please dig out those men! If there any chance they are alive! God help them.

  2. Wow. A number of really noncaring and completely void of compassion comments on here. The most important thing is that people are trapped underground and people feel the need to point out what they did wrong. Save it for when they get saved.
