Anybody who plays game with duncan should know that every chest is a dump chest, he won't change that. It's just better to duncan proof your storage system and put filters on everything

For those curious about the power vanishing… it is in fact the monorails. Every time they send an item, they drain some of the accumulated charge, which doesn't show in the power menu (it only shows constant drains)

Cast iron is more dimensionally stable than steel, and is commonly used in place of steel for large machining surfaces like table saw beds.

Iron is used mostly to make steel, but the thing about steel is there are many types of it with different uses. Processed iron is still used in things like toys, sporting goods, instruments, magnets, etc. So yeah both of you were correct that iron is used mostly for steel and that it's still used for other things as well.

Balancing the blast machines is such a pain, I started with the long inserters, which are the slowest.
