@27:50 Efficiency is king, but ROI and yield are right next to it. If a newer more efficient, and better hashing card costs me $300 more than a less efficient used card, I'll take the used card. IT all comes down to math for me. If it's it's going to take 600 days of mining to pay for the difference in efficiency, that's not worth it to me. Of course, there are other factors to consider, such as the yield of each card and how much the extra coin would be worth when I want to cash it out. But I look at those three things mainly.

Rabid. You said 11 cents, but did you account for your sales taxes? I have 12 cent cad$/kwh, but at the end of 2 months they slap me with 15% tax. Brings me up to about 14 cent cad$

Monero is what got me into crypto i couldn’t mine btc because i didn’t have asics i couldn’t mine with a gpu because i didn’t have a gpu so that left cpu and in 2014 there wasn’t many cpu mineable coins
