During the gold rush, sell the shovels. Over priced for the coin.
I shy away from mining because of the depreciation of mining power and possibly the coin too. The cost of the device may never pay for itself. Instead of spending 700 cad on a device that may pay itself off in 8 months (if profits stay the same for that long and they never do) I could just use that money to buy the coin.
Not $429 anymore. More like $1149. Think ill pass. Got stung buying a bobcat last run waited over 8 months and still hasn't broken even after over a year.
Has anyone out there actually built one of these miners or similar ? I'd like to try building one instead of buying these expensive retail products .

for anyone thinking this is easy…. its not…. having mined etherium i can tell you its constant care. internet connect has to be great, any issues , packs get halted mining stops. pools too they will update and you have to as well. every other day i had to reboot or reset or update.
