  1. using gravel and sand to close up the holes might not be safe , i think the stuff in the hole will act as a (buck) shotgun shooting bedrea intoo the struts and inbed intoo everything in line with the hole
wat i seen used where some sort of waterfilled condoms pushed in the end after loading the holes up , i think the water shooting out would do less damage but the shock from the explosion will temporary swells / mushrooms the butt end of the condom type tube and turn the water hard as concrete and close the hole verry tightly before being blown out

  2. Just a thought for the speeding up the stemming. In the UK we have chemical resin for gluing anchors in to concrete. A much smaller hole diameter than yours but something to think about.

  3. when they started drilling, why is the air suddenly that dusty? is it really dust or is it watervapor or waterdroplets or what exactly makes the air that "white"? i guess it's not dust from stone because they wear no masks, or i at least hope so, we all know how bad this dust is for the health!

  4. you need to find a powered tool with a screw auger that can push your "Stem" material through a spout of some sort with a little force. so one guy could mix it and stick it in the hopper, and the other could stick the tool end in the hole, press the button to activate the auger and it would really fill those holes fast and efficiently. worth looking into.

  5. We use the 6-pack burn as well; I've been pleased with how it pulls. I space the holes out about 50% more than you did and load 0/2/4 delays. We're close to our ore zone and the ground is fractured, having holes too close risks raveling in and binding steels.

  6. Jason I've been watching for over a year really enjoy your content! Couple of quick suggestions. You can use cake decorating bags for stemming. I also thought that if you line your slides with sheet metal, it will reduce friction on the bags !! And maybe they won't rip !!

  7. Question: why don’t you find nuggets the size of a nickel (etc) in your mine? All you show are specks. So where are nuggets formed, if not where you’re drilling.
