Super cool! I have family members who have always been into gold mining! Iโve seen alot of it and love the color! Best of luck to you!๐
Hey Jason, love your channel. Long time sub. I know you do wood too. Love to collaborate, I'm not too far from you. Just an idea. keep cuttin'!
Hard work for an ounce of gold, must be worth more than 2k$, Thanks for the video
Keep doing good… Hold on to it as your the mining pro. Stay strong as your confidence shows strength and knowledge as golden they say may be silence. With the knowledge of learning the teacher is you, like a whooped dog everyday in shape by your ways working harder and smarter. Like jewels of the city precious as the minerals your smarter and it pays. Thanks for the time and your knowledge is fine 999… No Worries Kind Regards….
thats one rich vein! 33.6g per ton is ridiculous!
That was a tough one but perseverance got you though it!!!; )
Parker Schnabels brother, uncle or cousin? ๐๐
$2200 paycheck with that little nugget there. Pretty fun job Iโd say.
Why are you not using a spectrometer?
You need to figure out what elements are in your concentrate and get a phase diagram my friend
Man this episode reminds me of when I was making MJ Oil & it all evaporated on me ๐
Dude, it's just not worth all the work… ROAST IT….. yeah, it stinks but it works.. or you could go old school Spanish and keep your sulfides moist for the next 3 months and let the natural bacteria do the conversion for ya.. I'm roasting, wasting too many resources trying to avoid the inevitable..
@7:30 "That's what the number two looks like." I would tend to agree. ๐
Curious Jason, is all the labor from mining to ore profitable? Or is this mostly a labor of love?
Seems like a fun gqme to do as q kid
I donโt know smelting chemistry, hell, I donโt even know real chemistry that well, but I had some thoughts: you didnโt roast your cons like you usually do, so that means you would have more sulfur present than normal and with the iron present, you could be making the ferrous sulfate/ide/ite as intended with the addition of the nails. I know you said you intended for an alkaline flux, but this seems like it would be more acidic – if you have a lot of acidic iron/sulfur salts and have any metals higher on the reactivity series, they may reduce the iron salt out as metallic (magnetic) iron creating that matte layer.
I also saw someone mention your crucible being unglazed – if itโs an aluminum fireclay, that could be the source of your more reactive reducing metal right there!
Just want to reiterate, I have no idea what Iโm talking about, but I love how you make us feel like weโre part of the process!
1oz per tonne makes this the second highest yield mine in the world. What am I missing?
Awesome job Jason.
what an adventure

Did you run out bags? I donโt see them.
dude hearing protection lol – you are still a young fella – not too late to save some dbs
Go away ๐๐ผ
I absolutely love what youโre doing mate, mining and prospecting has taken up almost 20years of my life and I love watching guys nutting all this stuff out so thanks for sharing. ๐๐ผ๐๐ผ
Need to correct your advertisement info.
"Eqiupment" is spelled wrong, should be spelled "Equipment". ๐
Seems like a lot of work for an ounce.
Very satisfying results with this equipment
The#2 kinda looks like a#2๐
How did I miss this one
Is that gold 24k or is there a little silver in it ? It looks pure by the colour. Did you xrf it ?
