You should get a tethered treaded drone that would fit through bat bars and go into mines deeper and see around corners. God forbid something bad happens, you have the tether that you have strengthened with paracord or something and pull it back home.
Great vid as always, have you used a Gopro 12 black,if so what do you think.
Awesome, a little Herb Albert and the "Spanish Flea"
These surface exploration episodes are great especially because of all the extra drone recon footage, and when you're hiking around with minimal edits I feel like I'm there with you. Those blue/green rocks and sparkles of galena make me wish I could zoom in for an extreme closeup.
15:41 Mr Camera was being a Q-Tip for Sure👂👁🙈
Heck ya another episode 💯💯💯
Thanks for taking us along on another Coolness adventure!
I believe the oldest copper mine was one on the Gila River, roughly halfway between Albuquerque NM and Tucson AZ, operated by the Spanish in the late 1500's. This according to a history book "After Lewis & Clark" by Robert Utley.

Hi Gly have you ever invited one of your YouTube watchers to join you on your mine exploration with you
Very interesting mate. Must admit the rock in that area does look to be very unstable?👍
What a beautiful day. It's nice to see the sun. It's been snowing in Nevada. Thank you I enjoyed it. GOD bless you and stay safe.
Gly, have you ever considered going overseas to do some recon into how some of the ancient civilizations, like the Roman Empire, Egyptians, Aztecs, Mayans, Incans, Babylonians, etc..mined their Gold and other precious metals? 🤔
Antler mine has the blue fuzzy crystal that is impossible to move.
Need a Scott pack just to get near it.
Sulfides gas heavy
That old "Stay Out! Stay Alive" sign would be cool as a poster.
Love the drone flyovers and history intro before the exploring starts….Bravo!
There's a lot of mines in this area. Some very hidden mines and some privately owned mines. A friend of mine has a large private mine north of Parker. One day Id like to take him up on his offer to show off some of it.
Thank you for the video!!
Please Stand By yep, I remember those and us kids were the remote control. "Snattle-rakes" 😅 I do that with some words, too "Flutter-bys" Love hearing the history of these places. Looking forward (as always) to the rest.
Good to see you today Gly. Awesome BLUE wow 😮 👍🏻. Neat mining site and the blue amazing ! Yea that crumbly stuff is unnerving with the widow makers . And the Snattle Rake 😂 😂 Be safe out there ! See you next weekend ! Can’t wait for more BLUE ! 👍🏻
That flatland behind the hill that you're viewing, is that where the "town" was located? Neat geology all around in this ancient lava flow area. Now all the Basalt is broken and cracked up from weather: wind/rain events. I like your motto of barbed wire, "the "velvet rope" to adventure". Put that on one of your T-shirts, I'll buy that from your store. Super interesting geological area and I got to see it from your drone work. Thanks for today's explore.
Here in Texas we call those mud wasps dirt dobbers.😂
glued to it gly ,, see ya next weekend , be safe buddy
See You Topside!
Hey Gly skip a cheese burger or two you could get through those bat bars lol !!😅
Thanks Gly for more exciting exploring❤
🇨🇦 Nice job Gly. Really 😎.
This is a good one nice job. Back to the geology, Tuff, or pillow basalt or just basalt? Back aches cure at Foxes in Parker on the river, won't fix the back but you will feel better thank you stay safe ALL!
Abandoned, yes. Forgotten, no more.
hello gly!!! i appreciate you!!! the black rock in the area is that lava? it looks so old. could you pick off the ground outside the mines some of the rocks to sale? thank you for all you do
I'm always amazed, intrigued , and thankful for what "Mr Coolness" has in store for us every Saturday morning.
Thank you sir.
Love the intro and drone footage, loads of information. That was Great Gly. Ground coverage now. Love that snattle rakes. Funny, a make shift pillar.
Thanks for another episode, Gly!
You don't need to give us excuses, Gly. I'm sure we're all very thankful for the minimum work you do for us. As for the maximum work you do for us, we're forever in debt to you
That area used to be a practice gunnery range during WW2. The target revetments were covered with black gravel. *Which turned out to be .50BMG bullets. which were weathered. There was a really nice incline that went for about 100' and at the bottom had a vertical shaft with collar, handrail and a ladder at the bottom. If I remember right the incline faced west.
Love a little Tijuana Brass
Gly, I was looking at Planet on Google Earth. It looks like near where the town or mill was there are at least 3 modern homes. Did you see them, and are they currently occupied?
✊Thanks Gly !Take care and stay safe. ⛏⚒⛏ Careful of the Desert Chickens.
Better get to it before it’s 112 along the river
Last week’s mine was fun. This one will be fun. Every mine is fun!!!!
