“Ghost Town Two”
I took a trip to Washington state to meet up with my friend Jason at his gold mine from the 1800s. He is reopening the mine and was nice enough to allow us to take a tour and do some mining! We spent the day chipping out gold from the walls and refining it back at Jason’s shop.
It was a very…

That's really cool. I wanna be Jason's friend too!
Jason is very accommodating with his time. He deserves more subs. Seems people are more attracted to BS than the genuine thing.
roll it into a wire and use it as an inlay for a plaque or something
"This is probably the sliperiest spot"
This adventure you shared with us really seemed to bring attention to (at least for me) the fact that the friendships we form during our journey through life are truly more valuable than one can put a number on. The experiences gained and shared with friends are the flavor of life. And as for an idea I'd cast a dye that would have 2 seperate chambers that you could mint the10g gold into half a coin and the other matching half from 10g of silver from your mine with the word Friendship stretching across both halves making it one coin and on the other side have Jason's company name or mine and Cierro Gordo mine or what you'd choose to represent you with the year. Put it into a nice coin case and into the museum so people who see it can reflect upon friendship just as this adventure you took us on did for me. Thank you.
Start a merch line so everyone can contribute and then give the nugget to somebody.
Wow absolutely amazing! Ty Brett and Jason for showing us how this is done and why our precious metals are so expensive!
Knock out a tooth and replace it with your newly mined gold from Jason
Make a Prince Albert
Great teachers, so many youtubers speak to hear themselves. Jason is so humble and knowledgeable, very interesting to learn from.
Been following for years from alaska and now Iām living in Washington so I love this!!
It would be cool if you made a cerro gordo silver ring enlaid with the gold!
Make a figurine with it. It's always cool when you can make an army man. Or just a little statue. Maybe make it be one of your family members. I always love melting gold and of new objects as well as other materials. But gold always holds a special place for me.
My father literally found some of the most important things that found one of the richest mines in Oregon. So it always makes me feel good.
Not more than just gold was found there, though. Don't get me wrong and that's why you need to know your shit
You're gonna lose quite a bit. You got the best shaker table in the business.
Which can recover the majority of gold and most metals and Sophonomides
It always comes down to Panning that's how you get your basics
Why not use acids? I get it cheaper to smelt it. But you're gonna get a lot more defects and other metals in it.
I really want that shaker table. It is a great design. There have been multiple people that have came up with that design of shaker table and it is an amazing shaker table. I'll either build or buy one someday. If I ever get the money. I will buy one and you'll be the first one I'll go to if not dan heard
It's a lot of work but you're doing it extremely cheaplythough you got that advantage.
Not to mention all the other medals solphonmides that are in there. You got a lot Jason, don't let him sell you sort. He's already saying that physical labor ain't shit.
Really it's low on the totem pole without mucking you have no material. That's A instant snap back comment. You do it yourself, b****You bend your back over all day lifting that fucking weight.
Why not ventilate the shaft and put the refining system inside the shaft. You can refine year round at that point in time. And you can scale up from that.
I noticed you didn't use a magnet FARIS / NON FARIS
PRECIOUS METALS
PLATINUM ALUMINUM
IRON

Been subscribed to Jason for a while since I saw him with Dan Hurd, nice to see another angle of the mine.
Gotta stamp that bead down into a Cerro Gordo gold coin and start your own currency!
Yes put some on one of yr tooth, when God does call u home you'll have a piece of S. Gordo with u forever, I know I would or a dog tag.
Make a necklace with your bead by wrapping in silver wire made from your silver.
HELLO right back at Cha Sir Brent!!
Still loving yr gorgeous red hair, dig, dig, this was a cool Vija for sure.
Happy Thanksgiving š¦š½ļøš¦ā¤ hope it's superb.
Pendant!
Make a little gold pan with the bit of gold so your can wear it on a chain. Thanks for the upload. Respect from Ireland.
Reopening old American mines is THE WAY to 'make America great again' like NOTHING ELSE THERE EVER IS, WAS OR WILL BE!!!
Excellent video, Brent and Jason! Maybe you could "mint" that gold into a Cerro Gordo coin and put it on display in the Cerro Gordo general store museum. I'd love to see it there in person one day!
Hopefully Jason and you Brent will each find your own Golden Nugget šŖšÆļøāļø
How come the wood is in such a state compared to Cerro Gordo ?
A re the conditions in the mine different, like more damp in Washington, or a different type of wood, or something else ?
Cheers Brent
Great video Brent/Jason! Thanks. I chuckled when you were panning and the stuff at the pan top is called taillings! Too much Gold Rush show!
need to see a whole fitness video from this man.
