I don't think you mentioned it but, you can't claim your ETCPOW until you hit 100 tokens – then the icon will turn yellow.
took about 2 weeks to get to 100 ETCPOW which is the minimum to claim. – @10 mins – just click earn ETC and wait, it has to download peers and the block chain. Someone else has posted a link to a JSON file that saves it A LOT of time (like hours)
