As far as i remember, you have to populate all 4 slots with really good ram and tighten the timings which can be boring af.
I would go bdie 3600mts for 5900x and tighten timings

For 7950x what's your 24/7 efficent mining settings for rXm. I just bought one, and put in a ECO mode. I think is fine. 19.18kH/s power package is 90w (115w on the wall), T- 52°C.
might i recommend the hp 3600 cl14 ddr4. It'll run over 15kh/s every time (r3900)

this video makes me so salty. I got a great deal on a 3900x from a friend but saw an opportunity to sell it so could get ripped off on a 5900x that's definitely dead. tried it on a b450 and 2 different b450s and an a320 (because hope-ium?) all bios updated.
so now I get to stare at a dead ryzen 9 while I'm stuck using my old r5 1400 (4c4t) that was supposed to strictly be for motherboard testing.😓😫

XMP settings look fine, but if you set core to 3.4GH, then per ccx @33.25-34.75, you can set the VDD to just 0.85. Give it a shot man.
Ram im using is corsair 3600cL18
Side note, using same settings on GR i get about 3kh/s @95 w, but with slightly lower VDD (0.83)
Im at 103.2w at the wall. 12kh/s
I have two 5900x, one is giving 13.9kh and the other 13.4kh, they are using close to 110w, but I did UV + OC on the CPUs and air RAMs, I did manual OC on instead of using XMP! The RAMs I bought are original CL 14, some at 3200mhz and the others at 3600mhz!

silicone lottery buddy, i have two 3900x i get over 14khs with 4 sticks of ram, one i have doesnt like 4 sticks, doesnt like overclocks, only nets me 12.8khs, i also have a 3900xt that does 14.6 khs

Weird, I've found my 5900x's perform slightly better than the 3900x's. Pretty much the same within margin of error. But you can find the 3900x's cheaper usually (I picked up 5 for $200 CAD each back in February)..
Isn't a lower CL faster?

Im getting 13.80 by putting everything on auto and xmp profile on 3200mhz dual sticks
Lock core 4400 and volt 1.02v 13khz 110w and they sit at 56C with basic cooler
I got 14Kh on my 3900X. 3.9GHz @1.14V . 8X4 3600Mhz CL14 ram😊
I purchased two 5900x on sale as well, I noticed the lower hashrate and I was considering sending them back to pick up 2 7900x

Last week i bought bunch of new R9 3900 oem and 3900pro. for 170$ pice. With 16gb ram xmp profile 3600mhx results are 12.7 mh/135 watts whole system base cpu clocks 3100mhz 🙂
Hi miner, did anyone mine zephyr on herominers? my hashrate its showing Current Hash Rate: 0.00 H/s but on miner all hashing good, Did i missing anything today, maybe any new updates???
I had the same problem with my Rysen 9 5900x stock, it consumed 140w and with an hs 12.7 the only thing I could do for balance was to put the core n 41 (4100) with that I achieved 14,000 hs with a consumption of 109w. I tried other ocs but the 4200 cpu crashed or consumed a lot without more hashes try put 4100 only this and you hash up to 14.000 and down consum

my favorite is the 3900X but they cost more than 5900's now, so… in another twist I can get a whole combo from Microcenter with the 7700X, 32 GB DDR 5 6000 Flare X, and the MSI Pro motherboard for $399 which will get similar hashrate of around 13200 but at 150 watts. My power is cheap at 8 cents in the dark and free solar during daylight… so Watts Schmatts.
8 GB / DDR4 @ 3933 MHz / F4-3600C14-8GVKB thats the ram for 17k u got to clock it to 3933

13.78 on my 5900X but it is at 1.1 volts, 3.9 multiplier all core and 142 watts
