  1. It may just be meX but your uploads seem to be lessening or getting shorter and I love this channel. I hope all is well and you keep pumping out the great videos with that camping couple and the many others you’ve met on your journey! I miss the stuff with your nephew, that was such a great series of vids having him along! Idk, just keep the content coming, you do your craft so well and I’m missing the 30 min Herk videos or overnight amethyst digs…Every video is a treat so thank you for that!!

  2. I loved this video Bryan! I was happy you found a pink one – it was really pretty! At first, I was little disappointed they were all clear to greenish, but it was interesting to learn (I already knew they could be heat treated), though, that the final heated colors could come out differently even though they pretty much looked the same going in. Do they heat treat right there?

  3. I've been looking forward to you doing a Montana sapphire episode. Coincidentally, I did my first mail-order box of gravel this weekend. It's from the Eldorado Bar location, though.

I got just over 30 ct from the box, several over a carat, and about 4 clear enough to cut. The biggest was 2.6 ct. No fancy colors, though. Gonna try Gem Mountain next.

Travel is pretty hard for me, so it's nice to be able to rock-hound by mail. I wish it was possible at more types of deposits. No chance of me searching for red beryl. I'm close enough to the Benitoite mine to do a day-trip, so I'll get to do that one at least.
