Hey everyone love the tests and sharing for the 5950x.
i get 18.3kh/s using the below settings on the hardware listed.
8gb x 4 kingston fury beast 3200 mhz ram.
water cooled cpu fan.
motherboard is gigabyte aorus elite v2 rev 1.1
settings in bios.
cpu clock control > auto
cpu ratio mode > per CCX
precision boost override > Advanced
PBO limits > MAnual
PPT > 400
TDC > 400
EDC > 400
precision boost overdrive scaler > auto
Curve optimizer > (set to 23)
CPU Boost Clock override > enabled (positive)
Max cpu boost clock override > 200
extreme memory profile XMP > stock 3200
CPU vcore > 1.322V
nothing else touched.
temps around 65c or below and cpu power less than 130W
stable.
i am still testing but would love to see Red Panda try this way and report power at wall.
also have you installed Ryzen master App ?> Panda as even on default settings the cpu power peak voltage can reach 1.48v so safe to set at above for overclocking, gamers go as high as 1.55v on some extreme overclocks.
hope this helps as a alternative method Panda and everyone else.
this is on windows 11, xmrig for testing over last 4 weeks of tweeking.
just bought a 5950x,7900x you know where i can get more info on which ram and motherboard and cpu cooler and power supply to buy
My 5950x has a hash rate of 16k5-17k2 with 4 Ripjaws 3k6 ddrams. CPU 3900Mhz 1.05V. You can try that.
Biggest issue I have run into with that ram is it gets cooking hot.
Is this a 10 part series for one rig? 🤣
