  1. Hi there Gly! I must say your looking MUCH better than when i seen you in a video sometime ago. Also happy uou found a great mine explore partner! Very much safer so kudos to you! 👍
And i totally agree keeping those mines secret. Wayyy too many vandals and thieves nowadays. Keep history preserved and leave things to modern miners that may actually be able to use that stuff again. Repurpose if you will. Vandals and thieves dont rgaf about any of that… Only to destroy what they can just ao they can get a cheap laugh. Thats why i say keep those mines secret.

  2. Gly… Let Laura examine the ore threads in the shaft. Turn the lights down so you can see hues during the travels. Post production we can see samples everywhere! Let Laura look with her own lightset. Including blacklight. Which we know you have and cannot facually use on your own. Not slamming you Gly exploring mines is 128 shades of Gray. Is no what Laura signed up for, let her do what she does.

  3. Its kinda messed up to assume that it was an "explorer" who just came along and kicked over the trash cans. There are plenty of animals that do the same shit. Specially if an animal was dumb enough to get that far in the mine, wouldnt they knock over the cans and scavenge through all the trash? Maybe nobodys been down there since the 90s. Im just saying

  4. Some of that heavy cribbing appears to be peeler cores from plywood manufacture. If so, it's the weakest part of the log.

The level is huge and those mine cars are large. They are provided with coupler pockets. They had to have had battery powered trams. No sign of overhead catenary. So where were the charging stations. Did not see any sign of any or where they had been. You said something about batteries for the muckers and that was it. Aren't muckers mostly all air?

  5. There would have been a huge military demand for tungsten at the point that mine opened anyway, what with all that was brewing over in Europe right about then. And that same demand would continue to this day as tungsten is no less important now for that kind of thing. Everything from rifle bullets to artillery, mines, missiles, rockets, all have one use or another for the stuff.

And that's one of the few times I've seen a crapper that still had a seat. Making that a bit of a gem, lol…

  6. Super cool video. I used to work putting in the square sets but nothing on this scale. The amount of work that went into this level is amazing and I bet the lower levels are going to be even better. Can’t wait to see next weeks episode. Laura, you are definitely a terrific addition to the show. Your commentary is right on point. You guys stay safe and healthy
