  1. at 4:01 when that kicks in I ALWAYS get chills, much like you guys did and it really flips the song. It makes you feel things, it's what Sleep Token is all about, the music is so emotionally charged and amazing. This song always hits for me, hell this whole album really. Atlantic is still my favorite and I about died when it was played live. I love that you guys are going through the whole catalog and while I don't often watch React content I'm loving your inputs on these

  2. what if he had something real with a woman and got in a car accident, killing their unborn child. what if that is what drove the wedge between them or even what if she died, being the apparition he sees or being taken from him. I guess we'll never know the god or goddess that visits him in his sleep and what hurts him so deeply.

  3. This is my favorite off the album…for now. I did not give this song any time at all, beyond my first listen of the album. However, it grew on my a lot and is the one I find myself humming the most!

  4. Another thing I’ve noticed recently checking out social media posts from sleep token
I don’t think sleep is necessary a woman
They’ve referred to sleep as “he” many times in posts
    “Now he rests”
    “Worship him”
So now my entire ideal of who sleep is supposed to be has shifted a little
They’re supposed to be a metaphor, and as a god I think it makes sense, for sleep not to really be either a man nor a woman , like they’re obviously above what “gender” even is
    They’re more powerful than that
(That’s my lil thoughts and opinion on that haha)

  5. About the car crashing references: I think it’s just a saying, a metaphor for a relationship lost control of when it went toxic.
I once had a person tell me that they already saw the car crash when we were talking about our relationship and meant by that that our communication styles were so different that it would have never worked.
Maybe there was a real car crash, we’ll probably never know, but I still believe it to be more probable that Vessels lyrics reference more to a toxins relationship that anything else.

  6. One thing that I find interesting, aside from interpretation, there's 3 albums in the trilogy, and the last song of it, Euclid, entwines with the first song off sundowning, which is The night does not belong to God. Making a circle. Here, he talks about being on a crashing course, yet in dark signs talks about the scars on his dash board. If you just put it on a timeliness of events, sundownings lyrics happened after this. Meaning that the true start of this entire thing isnt the 1st track of sundowning. Even if you pay attention to the lyrics in their 3rd album, "I got a river running right into you", it's still not the crash. It's before. So this beginningless tale of 3 albums that cycle into eachother isn't starting where it's typically supposed to. Even in the album names, sundowning is forgetting, but eden isn't forgotten in the 3rd album, and this place will become your tomb seems like a starting place. To be somewhere you don't wanna be, wanting to go back to where you were, then sundowning, the aspect of forgetting, then the 3 albums in a cycle. The entire thing has a relapse concept like a song that never ends. And I love it. It makes me wonder which song he truly made first.

  7. I think you are dead on regarding the car accident theory… Awesome!

I was more than just a body in your passenger seat

You were more that just somebody I was destined to meet

I see you go half blind when you're looking at me

    But I am

Between the second hand smoke and the glass on the street

You gave me nothing whatsoever but a reason to leave

You say you want me but you know I'm not what you need

    But I am

  8. I've been listening for a while to your reactions and one thing that struck me is the fact that you're always doing it so respectfully and so curiously about the lore. It's the same thing for the Billie Eillish videos. One of the very few reactions channel I listen to, because you're not only reacting, but you're finding the meaning behind the lyrics, and don't stop at appearances. I'm so glad you are doing every song. Looking forward to Calcutta!
If you wanna react to another metal band, I suggest the band ERRA. They did the first part of the Bad Omens shows last year! Snowblood is particularly good!
